@Crayonz: Secret ID. Has a lot to do with RNGing shinies.
 
@AncienT: Sorry AncienT, I already have a shiny Houndour. The Chiko is fine for one of the shinies, though. :D

i have a level 10 hasty shiny Magikarp. its 26 hp 8 attack 23 speed. i would like to know of you would want to trade for a riolu or the egg. (i dont have diamond, pearl or platanium and i really want one)

@iDarky: Sorry man, I don't do EV training services. It would be a nice addition to my thread but it's not something I'm too interested in.
@PokeDuude: Sweet, this'll make my final decision.
 
@Crayonz: It's not, really. And you could say that for anything, like chaining, IV breeding, EV training, etc. Besides, you want shinies so much so I'd say it's worth the effort. You can't expect them to fall into your lap. ;) Reserve judgment until you try it.
 
@Crayonz: RNG Reporter. Basically, a calculator that will help you greatly, unless you want to do complicated algorithms for simple things. Also, it comes with no viruses and takes up virtually no space on your hard drive.
