The Baton Pass Challenge

It looks like I'm finished with my part in FireRed! The early part of the game moves pretty quickly.

GAME LOG

Spoiler:

-For the third member of my team, I traded for one of my old friends, Datsyuk the Alakazam. The Alakazam was once a prominent member of my Emerald Nuzlocke before it fainted (Reference: NHL hockey player commonly called a "magician" for his skills.).

-Did SS Anne with Wartortle, Primeape and Alakazam.

-Took on Lt. Surge and won because Wartortle knew Dig, and then Primeape did everthing else.
-Went through Rock Tunnel, then added the second member of my team, Iginla the Arcanine (The original owner of this save file was using DJ names, I was thinking of hockey nicknames. Arcanines' color is similar to the Calgary Flames, who Jarome Iginla used to play for.)

-With Iginla and Primeape (who knows Aerial Ace), I easily defeated Erika to earn the fourth and final badge.

A .sav file is attached to ths post.

I'm not sure but I think there was a rule that you should box 1 of mine pokemon?

-Boxed Primape and Arcanine (which both were hard choices)
-Got to Saffron City, beat the Fighting Dojo and chose Hitmonchan
-Named him Mr. Punch (I don't know any hockey players or DJs, sorry)
-Defeated Team Rocket in Celadon
-Went into Pokémon Tower and caught a Gastly named Betrayer (I doubted about catching him, and meanwhile he paralyzed Datsyuk)
-Got the Poké Flute
-Failed to catch Snorlax on Route 12

Obviously I'm not done yet, but I'll probably go on later.

Finished as Player 2 in Pokemon Black!
You'll want to read this:

Spoiler:

-Benched Servine. Not a fan of the Unova Starters, though I did choose Snivy when I first played.
-Evolved Panpour to Simipour. Shortened its nickname to "Diddy", which sounds better.
-Evolved Gurdurr to Conkeldurr and evolved Darumaka to Darmanitan.

I'm pretty sure Conkeldurr and Darmanitan are among the best playthrough Pokemon in this game, even though Black has a pretty mediocre selection of Pokemon. I wish good luck to whoever decides to drop which Pokemon, because it's a tough one.

-Made a new PC box for all the Pokémon I accidently caught there
-Beat Koga's gym
-Went southwest to get to Cinnabar Island
-Realized I can't get to Cinnabar Island from there
-Flew to Pallet Town and went south to get to Cinnabar Island
-Realized I don't have to be at Cinnabar Island
-Flew to Saffron, spent a ton of time on Silph as usual
-Got Lars the Sassy Lapras and decided to take him as my second team member instead of Betrayer
-Went to the Saffron gym and beat Sabrina

I have the save file in .sav as usual. I guess it's time for Feraligatr13 to pick it up!

That's my mistake. I forgot to drop a Pokemon, so your team was four before you started. Therefore, you must drop another. Sheesh, if I could just follow the rules correctly...

Igualmente on Player 6 of Pokemon Gold. I'm feeling like I might not be able to play it with this thread going so slow this month.

This thread seems to be dying out, and that really shouldn't happen since this is a wonderful challenge.

Is it a suggestion to add a new rule that you are "kicked out" of your group when you don't post for a month or something? It sounds mean, but it's the only way for something that is so much depending on specific people.

I love this challenge, and I'd hate to see it get locked just because someone forgot that people were waiting for him/her.

I sure hope that nobody is waiting for me :o I've been checking this thread daily and I didn't see weather or not it's my turn already ~ We have to wait for few more days though. School is coming towards the end for a lot of people and exams and studying can take away a lot of time - We just have to be patient. I am sure that most of the challenges will be more active during summer.
