    Being that the battle frontier is in Kanto that leaves the door open for some original characters from the first season to return... one of the characters i'm hoping will return some time during the battle frontier season is Misty even though she was in 3 episodes prior to frontier season she is still a chance to return as battle frontier is in Kanto

    *very happy about this* Maybe we'll get to see the gym leaders again...and characters we haven't seen yet*coughcoughwillcoughcough*. Did they say where exactly the battle frontier would take place (which towns, I mean)? *hopes for saffron XDDDD*

    well maybe that's kind of weird... but well... we can't do anything... it is done anyway

    I wonder if satoshi-kun will ever see is old pokemon.
    He may see a few of his old pokemon, but I doubt he will see all of them. >>;;; For examply, Pidgeot. How many times has Ash returned to Pallet Town now? And he never visited Pidgeot...

    ^^;;; *notices* I read "his" instead of "is".....XD
    They are in Kanto, so it would be kind of weird for them not to see any Kanto pokemon.

    The new season SUCKS!

    -.-;

    I can't believe the put it in Kanto. That, and the fact that Ash, May, and Brock all lose their best pokemon for some pansy-assed ones. It's stupid. [/rant]

    I thought that there was going to be brand new pokemon things going on ^ ^
    But the kanto season dosen't sounds that bad for me

    *wearing a spy agent suit* Maybe this whole seasons just a ploy to buy them time until the next Pokemon Season comes along, maybe the Pearl and Diamond region will be somewhere North or East of Kanto, since Johto's in the west, Orange Islands are in the South and i dunno where Hoenn is ^^;; maybe Ash should get all the badges again while doing his battle frontier thingy ma bob XD

    Yep, and after finally reaching the Battle Frontier in my Emerald version, I'd say this won't be a short trip. >_>; There's ALOT of stuff to do.

    yes there is alot to do and you need strong pokemon and it is no fair that u can't use legends!

    Supposedly, Hoenn's directly south of Kanto. Not sure where that places the Orange Islands, but I've imagined them to be between Kanto and Hoenn due to the climate.

    As for the placement of DP, it'd be cool if it were in the North.

    Now, as for a reaction to the new season: So, who's up for Orange Islands II? -_- Really, I'm sensing a pattern. Kanto was great, and then the writers threw in a filler season followed by one that dragged on forever due to cookie-cutter episode plotlines. Now Hoenn's something fresh, new, and decent, and now it's going to be followed by something that has an eerie resemblance to the Orange Islands... Somehow, I get the feeling the DP season won't be stellar either.

    Though if they brought some of my favorite Kanto-dwelling characters back in the Battle Frontier arc, that'll shut me up for awhile.

    I just wish they spent more time on the Hoenn Championship. I thougth it will be better but it felt rushed. Now they give us a filler season unti DP. Eh

    Well the Battle Frontier is all over Kanto. Better be good. There is going to be 3rd gen pokemon and a few 4th gen, just to showoff. Hopefully they will show some of Ash's old Kanto friends.

    Hopefully, this map answers you questions.

    [PokeCommunity.com] The Battle Frontier... in Kanto?

    The stars show the location of the battle facilities, so you can take your best guess where each one is...

    So the speculators were wrong. The whole Battle Frontier challenge is all in Kanto, so Satoshi and friends weren't browsing Kanto for nothing, they had a proper reason.

    I think it's weird. It should've commenced on the island in Hoenn, but no, it spread in Kanto. The producers must've been thinking it wasn't good. >_>;
    Oh, god. Now they're screwing around with the locations? And I thought making Agatha the Viridian Gym Leader was stupid...

    Agatha rocked as a gymleader <3. D:

    Anyways, I'm gonna love the Battle Frontier season. I'm obsessed with the Battle Frontier. This is again, coming from the boy who likes the Orange Islands too. I think we should atleast wait til Satoshi atleast get somewhere in Frontier before saying it's going to be horrible.

    Can we say 'unrelated', people? As ETR would put it, games =/= anime. Besides, it's kind of a given that Satoshi would need strong Pok?mon to beat the Frontier Brains (as he would to beat gym leaders), and it's also obvious that he wouldn't use legendaries.

    But enough of that. I half-expected this to be carried out in Kanto, considering fans have always complained how much better Kanto was compared to the following series, and that its series was only 83 episodes. As long as they don't turn this into another Jouto (think filler-cramming), I'm fine.

    ...OMG PSB HIIIIII. </offtopic>
