I'd say a physical wall to replace Ludicolo and Honchrow/Gyarados for our other slot.

Considering we already have a couple of Physical Sweepers (Metagross + Garchomp), I'd go with a Choice Scarfed Honchkrow because of it's low speed and high Attack/ Special Attack stat. A Nasty Plot will do fine, and I think switching to Honchkrow would force the opponent to switch because of the resisances and immunities. With the right nature, a CS Honchkrow would outspeed an Alakazam. Besides, Alakazam won't do so well against a Honchkrow because of it's resistances.

Well, I think we are replacing Chomp, I'm not sure.
 
CS Konchkrow will not outspeed Alakazam. It will only have a near 105 base power. do the math.

EDIT: Holy poo I did REAL math again!!!

and not much will outspeed an alakazam especially not a honchkrow.

My vote is still for Gyarados. I recently rated a Honchkrow with Choice Scarf and I noticed its movepool was terribly small I had to put Steel Wing on it :(

So Gyarados it is.
 
I don't really like Gyarados' typing. ._. Water/Flying = phail. Most electric types will also outspeed his Earthquake. So I'd go with Honchkrow.

Not really. At least it can take neutral damage from grass types. Besides, if you pair Gyarados with something that can absorb electric moves, and know when to predict them coming, it'd be no problem.

Shirosaki is right. A Dragon Dancing Gyarados can wipe out threats. Trust me. That's why most teams require an electric move.
 
Meh, if it's not a double battle, and if he doesn't already have a couple od DDs up, he's screwed. I don't like weaknesses like that.
 
True, but that's why we would take out those threats. Or he can be the starter. Trust me, I use a Gyarados. But like the show, he must be used responsibly. I took out Punishment's whole team-and many others-with a Dragon Danced Gyarados. No offense to Punish, but he is a great battler, and to do that to him (he made sure I didn't do it again) is impressive for a poke.
