No, that's why using just blissey is so awesome, people think I shall switch to skar, when blissey is out, but No!, I go Counter and they die, mwahahaha.
 
How many of you think we should use Blissey? I would also like
to say that Skarmory whould also be a horrible choice for the
same reason that Blissey is. I would like to ask that in the
next posts you give your opinion. You can post about other
stuff, but just give your opinion on the Blissey matter.
 
I dont know why people got the idea that the SkarmBliss combo has lost its flare this generation. In fact it is still as annoying to take down. Skarmory and Blissey are still top tier Pokemon because of their abilities and stats.

You see even though BLissey has max defense she isnt a wall but a special sponge. The only reason she has max defense is so she wont cave into one physical attack. Aromatheraphy along with staying power is the main reason people include her in their teams.

Skarmory is even better then Blissey. This is why I advised so much agaisnt ThunderFang and Fire Fang but rather Flamethrower on Salamence. I've been in battles and with Skarmory's armor scoring over 400+ Defense points with max EVs in HP it only does about 20%-25% of damage.

Personally I'd would be happy if we didnt do the SkarmBliss but this is a thread for the best team and not our favorite Pokemon.
 
I would go for it because I have battled tons of people that have made me have so much trouble taking down the two of them that I think it could be worth it but if you don't have skarmory could you at least try to have an acid armor/baton passing vaporeon?
 
I didnt say Blissey was bad for its stats. I said it was bad because any good trainer will equip their team to take on this BlissSkarm combo. I agree that
Blissey should not be on our team without Skarmory. If we put in Skarmory, then we will have to scrap our whole team, and the last Month and a half will have been for nothing. Just because a pokemon has good wall stats (i.e Blissey), doesnt mean you should use it. I am going to bring up the same argument i said before, and that is everyone is puting attacks on thier team to take our BlisseySkram. When people are making a team, and they think about the walls that they are going to have to kill, the first thing that comes to mind is BlissSkarm. I am going to pleed one last time, dont use them.

I am now going to suggest something new. Many of you want to give up on the team we have now for a whole new one, and some of us want to make changes to our current team. Do you want me to make a new Thread where those who want a new team can make a new one altogether?
 
You could, but I don't want to give up the team. Also, I agree that most people will have equipped skarmbliss killers on their teams. I think our team will actually be worse for using it.
 
Well Im not suggesting we use SkarmBliss but most people in this thread are underplaying their role in the current metagame. In fact my last sentence from my last posts clearly states I dont want to use them either if possible.

The reason Skarmory is so popular is because it is the only one who can wall Metagross and Tyranitar successfully even after the DD. Not to many Pokemon can boast that. Blissey is popular because she is the only Aromatherapist who wont get knocked out easily due to her staying power.

Sure Ive seen people trying to counter a SkarmBliss team but they utterly fail as SkarmBliss has new addition to the team, Milotic. Regardless SkarmBliss is hard to take out. A pro would never let it fall apart.

Like I said if we can alternatives then dont use them. This is the thread where we make the best team and not an original team where we are going to be different from the current metagame.

Id rather keep this thread going. Solid members on the team so far is Metagross, Milotic and Dusknoir with Togekiss pending.
 
Lets just keep those three-hopefully four-for now. I'd rather not question those.

Neither would I. I mean, just today in Netbattle, I killed a Blissey with Blastoise. Of course it was paralyzed, and I got a critical hit, but anyway. If we got Blissey, we would need to max defense. Even then, it would probably be weak in that area, thanks to its massive base ten.
 
Nobody answered my question, what about a vaporeon, I have a couple suggestions here:

I agree, I think we should keep those four. I wasnt suggesting that we should have a purely original team, but having a few orginal choices could give us an advantage. Besides, if we keep Milotic and Dusknoir, then thats the walls. I dont know if people want a third wall, but i dont. Im glad this is settled.

Lets focus on getting the last pokemon hashed out. Please keep the suggestions for the four base pokemon until we have all the pokemon chosen. Here is what we have agreed on so far. Everyone, if you could, try to chose a pokemon, then i will make a list of these pokemon you have choosen, and then we can make all the decisions easier. Please keep the rest of the team in mind when choosing.

Team:

Metagross
Milotic
Togekiss
Dusknoir

May the Force be with you...
 
I suggest we keep Scizor from earlier. Also, Vaporeon might be a good choice I guess.
 
The vaporeon could max defense and then baton pass to milotic who could then take an Earthquake from a dragon danced tyrannitar.(I don't know if it already could or not but I doubt it).
 
I would like to suggest a Gallade or one of the Dragons.

Plus, please dont comment on other people's choices until we have all the pokemon that everyone chose.

xD ok. Gallade sounds good. I'll try to think of a set. It should already have Swords dance and Psycho Cut, maybe brick break from TM.
 
Yes, I have always wanted to train a gallade, I just never got around to it, I'll research it tonight, and to let you guys know, I won't be around for 4 days, as I will be away.

A light saber is impossible, because for a laser to be able to cut something so easily, It would have to be a very powerful laser, and a powerful laser can't be seen by the human eye.
 
I am going to suggest Claydol or do I dare say it Starmie.

Simply because we need a Rapid Spinner. Claydol can function as another wall and it has Levitate so it laughs at Earthquakes. Not to mention it can learn Rapid Spin along with Stealth Rock.

Then there is good old Starmie who is as fast as running water. (Okay bad analogy.) She is quick and efficient not to mention a tank and a decent special attacker with a movepool the size of...well a pool.

Dont care which we really decide on and the important thing is we have a Rapid Spinner. Spikes and Stealth Rock are so common these days. So will we go defensive (Claydol) or offensive (Starmie)?
