Electivire does heve a STAB t-bolt and not to mention E-quake ice punch(for those pesky dragons) cross chop to even it out.

Here is my suggestion:
Electivire@leftovers/salac berry/petaya berry
Jolly Nature ev's= 252 speed, 200 attack, 58 sp. attck
Cross Chop
Ice Punch
Thunderbolt/Thunder Punch
Earthquake

Also I want to be in the fan club

Ok, i dont know if i will be able to post tommorow, but for now we have myself and two others who want to be in the club. I was thinking about calling it the Elite Team Fan Club(ETFC for Short). Now that you mention it, Electivire would be a pretty good choice. Opinions?

1. I like the idea of Electivire now.
2. If you get thunderpunch, you won't need any sp attack, and you can put extra into attack.

Yes McWoot, but we are trying to go for a mixed Sweeper. And i think that more EV's should be in Special Attack. We would either go with Reflect or Sword Dance, because both would be a bad idea. I would like you to vote on either my name for the club (ETFC), or ooka 100's name (Ultima Fan Club). If you have your own name, just post it instead of voting.
 
A mixed sweeper is never a good idea as they are never efficient in what they do as their strengths are divided up. That is why the notion of a dual-wall does really work out either. So Gallade will most likely be a physical sweeper.

I second this comment.

Mixed Sweepers pass in certain cases, such as one with low speed.

I would prefer a focus on one catagory of sweeping. If a non-mixed sweeper such as Staraptor, the focus would be on Attack and Speed so it will deal more damage.

Mixed Sweepers make a Pokemon more diverse, able to hit more walls such as Blissey, a special wall. Alakazam, a special sweeper, can't do much damage on Blissey, while a mixed sweeper, such as Infernape, can use either Flamethrower or Flare Blitz, in the physical or special category, can kill Blissey instantly.

Most mixed sweepers would have poor speed, so they can max out the offensive stats(i.e. Lapras).

If a pokemon has high speed and an offensive stat, focus on speed and one of the offensives.

I still recommend a single category sweeper. Since this is double battle, a physical sweeper and a special sweeper paired up would work out great. Bolt-Beam duos are more effecient, such as Electivire and Glaceon paired up.
 
This is for single battle. Always has been. Though thats a great idea. To keep threads like these going, the perfect double battle team could be established.

I agree, no mixed sweepers.
 
Ok, i was only trying to suggest a replacement for Claydol because we already hace two walls. What ever the pokemon we choose, it has to have some kind of offense against Skarmory. I also think we should bring back the list of over used pokemon.

I dont agree with a lot of pokemon on this so called OU list, but what ever. We must decide on a name for our club dedicated to this thread. The choices are Elite Team Fan Club (ETFC), or ooka 100's name (Ultima Fan Club). Please post which name you want, or i will have to pick the name myself. Anyone who asks can join the club, just say you want to.
 
I like the name Ultima Fan Club a little more. I just think it sounds cooler. But they decided to put Skarmbliss on the same tier as Infernape? They're get destroyed by it easily, and now Infernape will be on every team -.-. Great.

More, on topic, I pick to use Infernape for our team. He has incredible power over Skarmory, almost as much as it does for Blissey. It's just a Blaziken only better, with way better speed.
 
I choose Ultima Fan Club as well, but I would like to change the "Fan Club" part into something fancier.
 
Hmm, I like the idea of naming it Ultima Team. That just sounds cool to mean. What do you guys think? That or Team Ultima, just tell me which one you like, or if you don't like either.

Haze support, with the option of a nice surprise in Explosion or Destiny Bond. Better off with Pain Split really, but it can catch people off-guard
 
I still like infernape, but a Weezing sounds awesome. It can finally get Bold now that sludge bomb is special based. Weezing might be a cool choice.
 
Well Infernape is nice but no established player would allow their SkarmBliss duo to be disrupted. Instead theyll send osmething known as Milotic who Infernape fears.

Vaniz why are we getting rid of Claydol now? I did mention we need Rapid Spin support If we dont like Claydol I also suggested the best Spinner Starmie. We are already neglecting an Aromatherapist. We have no Pokemon with Natural Cure. Basically this team will fall apart against a team full of Spikes/Toxic Spikes/Stealth Rock and status effects.

So if we went with the current thing most people want we would have:

Dusknoir, Salamence, Metagross, Milotic, Gallade, Infernape

See the problem? Dusknoir as nice as his defenses are really has low HP just like Claydol and provides no support for the team. Milotic can only take so many special hits for the team. With Spikes and everything around her durability is weakened. Thus I suggest we need another wall. Three sweepers and three walls sounds very balanced to me.

Still like I said we got power but against a SkarmBliss duo this team would have considerable trouble. And those teams are usually equipped with a Milotic or other bulky water types who can counter the supposed threat of Infernape.

So basically Skarmory can wall a Metagross and Gallade. Blissey walls Dusknoir and Milotic. And a good bulky water such as Milotic can wall Infernape and eliminate Salamence via Ice Beam.
 
Ok, so Punishment brings good points to our attention. Next time could you make it sound like a suggestion and less like an attack on myself. So we obviously need to change our team to take on Skarm Bliss. That is fine by me. Punishment, are you suggesting that we put in Claydol instead of Infernape? I never said "NO, i will never put Claydol on this team", this is what i said:

So, most of us would say that we need a Rapid Spinner. Now this is just me, but I would like to try to find alternatives for the Rapid Spinner. If we put Claydol in, then half of our team is Wall. Does anyone else know a way to put Skarmory to misery? If we must, then i dont mind Claydol.

I didnt like the idea of Starmie because that would open half our team to an electric weakness, and even a really experinced trainer would have a hard time overcoming that. I dont mind if you want to try to get rid of another pokemon to better combat SkarmBliss, but dont make it seem as if i never take ideas.

No one ever even said to keep Salamence, and we have never discussed Salamence since the last team, so dont suggest that we have decided to keep him. Next time you criticize, come up with a way to help also.
