I've never thought of Steelix. I have a little experience with him too. I have enough to know that Steelix's defense goes up to 548 with max and impish, so he should be on our list of choices. What do you guys think?
 
Put him on the list. I like Swampert, though. When Vainz said Dragon, I thought "Avalance".
 
I don't like Rhypherior replacing Dusknoir is because it isn;t supposed to be a wall at all. Sure it has nifty defenses and a nice ability it isnt a wall. It is more of a tank. : /

Steelix is amazing if it doesnt come into ocntact it is weak against. Unfortunately it cant do much as a physical wall even. HP is too low. Weak to Earthquake which I find strange considering it is part ground type. Very slow and a mediocre special defense and attack. All it has is defense. So no to Steelix.
 
*YAWN* Well, what about Swampert? Ya'll sure can type fast when I sleep.
 
Swampert is not a wall. It doesnt have def or Sp.Def base over 100. Sure it has nice HP, but it needs more than that to be on the BEST team we can possibly think of. I also say no to Steelix, but a Steelix can take an earthquake better than any other steel type out there. I think we should stick with the original choice, and keep Dusknoir.
 
I see, so thats a bulky water. Sure, why not Dusknoir.
 
I still haven't heard anything about tangrowth, with leftovers and leech seed it could be ultimate(and I just found one with 31 hp and defebse ev's which is what I'm ev training it in).
 
Sigh. Now I'll never get my thresd snswered. I like the idea of Tangrowth. I love grass types, and this is a great wall, despite the nightmares he gave me. What is in those vines anyway? Chronic nightmares...

Um, so is shuckle, but with the addition of special defense and the worst HP of a last form of a Pokemon in the history of the game. Read the end of that sentence. Steelix might be bad, but Shuckle is worse.
 
I still say tangrowth as a wall. Great hp and defense, with attack and special attack if you are going to use solar beam, although I would go with power whip.
 
I've never really looked at Tangrowth for much of anything. Same with Tangela earlier in the games. I just don't like them. But if Tangrowth is good, we should consider him one of the choices.

Just did. 50 base sp defense = Death by Flamethrower. But it's not like you'd put him in against that..
 
I say Leaf Storming Tamgrowth. We ain't using it against fire types, thats what Milotic is for.

lucario is a special sweeper too(in fact i prefer its special set). and infernape is best as a mixed sweeper. you also forget sceptile for special sweep. you also forgot metagross for physical sweeping..

i don't know what your list is.. it has some OU's in there but i'm not sure what purpose it serves nor what's owning what.

I didn't really take time on the list. Just took a couple things. And I didn't list legends either. (Some OU's are legends remember that, only ubers are banned from play!)
 
well, i dont think they're looking at the first post at this point.. maybe that list can provide them some inspiration i don't know.
