    What level? Well, you only have 3 Pokemon to choose from at level 5...So...

    I always chose Torchic because it was just totally cute. :D
     
    Start with Mudkip, it's pretty much the easiest to beat the game with and evolves into Swampert which is just awesome to have in your team anyway.
     
    Yep Mudkip is best because of its evolve to Swampert. (One of the best starters I guess)

    Blaziken is also good for the PokeLegue but I would prefer to choose Mudkip.
