The Booster Pack Thread

Just today I bought my first packs of cards in probably two or three years. Yeah. It felt so cool to open a pack after such a long dry period. Although I did get three of the Burger King promos, and that is what got me wanting more. (Dang it, their marketing scheme worked!)

So I spent about $30 on a theme deck and four booster packs. I don't think I was particularly lucky with the booster packs as I was thinking I would get at least one level X, but it was fun nonetheless. :)

Well I remember in my last booster pack (Well 2 really) I got Moltres and Palkia (That's all I remember)
 
Uh, the last one I bought was a long, long time ago. Holon Phantoms or something. I got one of my favorite Pokemon - Omanyte.
And uh, a Steel-type Pichu... And an Aron. Don't remember any more.

6 Booster packs over the last 2 days, weeee!:classic: I found a surprise at a local store too, a 3 pack that included 2 Ex Dragon Frontier and 1 Ex Deoxy. There's 6 more there! I'm planning to buy most of them.
I also purchased a 3 pack that included 2 Majestic Dawn and 1 Ex Power Keepers.

Note: I am only listing the cards I don't have already.

Just got 2 booster box's... Now should I open the boosters and sell the cards individually, or should I sell boosters?
 
well, i cant quite remember what i got last.. i tried to get some lucario's and mudkips.. but i didnt. i remember my more favorite ones i got were Palkia, Luxio (i really want Luxray), and... thats it. lol it wasnt that great of a buy.. especlally for 20 bucks. but hey! its still fun.

my friend and i also are collecting all of the new eeveelutions. we have em all but Flareon. :(

Well I succumbed to buying new Booster Packs. Both of them the newest set...Legends Revealed or something like that. One had a Shiny Gliscor and Regigigas. Not too bad I'd say.
 
Just bought a Legends Awakend Booster Pack: Kyogre, Regigigas, Gliscor, Poliwhirl, Skitty, Unknown ?, forget the rest (already!).
 
wow i have really just got back into collecting pokemon cards again, and ive had a great "week" i started buying again on sat oct 11th and since then ive got a great collection. ive bought 2 tins(darkrai and mewtwo) 2 decks (one came with a collection of packs and the leafeon deck) and tons of packs (21 total) but i have bought alot of the 3 pack deals that come with a promo card as well. so far ive collected

My friend gave me the "Power Reserve" and the "Water Blast" decks, with Kangaskhan Shiny and Vaporeon. Old cards ftw.
 
picked up a pack of Legends Awakened today, pulled out

(H) Cresselia

was pleased with that pull.
 
I got started with the older cards... Jungle, etc.. I think I have an almost complete set of them, not sure...

But I did get started on the R/S sets, and although I never really got to play, I made a mean deck that consisted of Flygon, Vibrava and Electabuzz, they all had attacks that did damage to bench Pokemon and lots of it. I never got to try it out but it seemed very cool.


I haven't got a new pack in quite a while. I did get one this year, looked at the cards and was like "wtf?" cuz it's like changed even more.

I did hear of a card that I want though..

It's called "Pikachu Star" or shiny Pikachu...

What kind of booster pack should I buy to be able to possibly obtain this card? And how rare is it?
