I just recently downloaded the upgrade. Stupid Firefox. I still won't use Safari, though.

I don't get what's so bad about Vista. I mean... I'm not a computer nerd or anything, but as a regular computer user, Vista wasn't that bad. Of course, I'm like lax and open-minded about everything so maybe I just didn't see the bad in it. I'm not using Vista anymore because my old laptop stopped functioning, but... yeah.

Vista was okay but it was a massive resource hog, battery life on laptops was murder, and it limits a lot of things we do.

I downloaded IE9 last night; it's actually pretty rad. It's a nice backup browser to my two Chromes.

Yep. At least Windows 7 requires less resources and is pretty efficient. I have no complaints.

475. I just have to say that Windows 7 has higher system requirements. It is better at managing hardware resources, though, which makes it seem faster.

Also yay A+ on a paper I thought I did horrendously on.

474 What?! I'd have to say Windows 7 has lower system requirements. How is it that my dad's laptop designed for XP -- "compatible with vista" , can't run Vista but can actually run 7 even better than XP.

edit: actually you're right...Aero itself needs good enough processors to run the opacity.

473. I was talking technically, not seemingly. Windows 7 isn't as fussy about what it will run on, but it still needs more resources to run at full resources.
