I took the four hour course online, but I need to go to the Driver License office and take the written test and get my permit. Then after whatever long it is for those 18+ passes, I'll get my license. Just having a permit would be nice though so I can prove I'm eighteen. =3=

There might be the matter of enough cars, too. :V
And here in MN it's either 3 months or 6 months with a permit after 18. Can't remember if it shrinks from the 16+ age, which is 6 months. I think it does. And you're supposed to have a state-issued ID mailed to you if you're over 18 but have no license in MN.

ugh, I know. :[ Then I'm all "uhhh... I have a school ID. ;;" if it's something that requires an ID, but luckily it doesn't have to be something that has your age. :V I should have done Driver's Ed in high school as well. v_v
We have the PT and the MiniVan. The number of cars ain't a problem here. I would love to have a state issued ID. ;;

437. Drivers Ed was the first two months of Safety Ed at my school, since we were on Trimesters. It was a "recommended" (it may actually have been required to graduate, though) elective for freshman year. It was so much cheaper than an actual driving school. And I liked my instructor. He was pretty cool. Most of that class was just watching movies and filling out worksheets about what they did wrong in the video (with the occasional video and worksheet about what they did right in the video).

Does your school ID have your age, or are you screwed if you need an ID with your birthday on it? XD
Same. I'm tired of my mom going 'You need to learn how to drive', but she's been busy every Friday and haven't had time to take me, orz. If you find out, be sure to tell me! (ahh, the wonderful things of living in the same state.)

yeah. When I looked at a site it was all 'take the permit test, and then take a test to get your license' and I'm all... whut? XD;
I has no ID. :[ I had to use my passport as an ID when I was registering for College.
