BW interface (left) and B2W2 interface (right)

Ever since the DS era, the Pokemon games introduced a special gadget to make use of the touch screen interface, and 5th Gen's variant was the little watch known as the C-Gear. It's obtained in both games shortly after defeating the first Gym, and allowed you to trade and battle.

The interface was also customizable, with BW allowing you to download skins via the (defunct) Dream World website, as well as customizing the icons on the default skin. B2W2 though, had a new design with rings that can be changed colours. The C-Gear also played a part in surveys which are recorded at Castelia City's Passerby Analytics HQ.

Features included the Xtransceiver (which was pretty much like a phone function to ingame chatacters), being able to enter Entralink, using Game Sync to send a Pokemon to the Dream World, battling and trading via IR connection, and also Feeling Checks which was the only way to obtain a healing item called the Sweet Heart.

What was your fave feature of the C-Gear? Did you ever customize your skin? How do you think it compared to the Pokegear, Poketch etc.?
