    I just got one thing to say. I love this episode. Satoshi and Hikari kicked ass.

    Anyway, I didn't see the episode, although this Double Battle is a nice change, as I don't think Ash/May Double Battled much. Or have they? Too many fillers, I forget.

    I will say that I think this is the worst title in PUSA's run so far. Just jabs 4Kids a bit too much for my tastes. Oh, well.
     
    What rip off from "The Bicker the Better"

    Ah well, it was still a pretty good episode. I loved seeing Croconaw =)

    I really agree with Precita on this one. This episode was almost the exact something as The Bicker, The Better. I don't remember all that happened but it was almost the same but with Dawn. The only difference between this episode and The Bicker, The Better was that in The Bicker, The Better , The Rocket Battle kinda made things all better in Ash and May's double battling together and that was kinda about it.

    Also this episode didn't really flow well. I felt that it was really choppy and things were resolved way to fast. Kinda disappointing and just kinda made this episode a bit worse since it kinda really reminded me of The Bicker, The Better.

    Good points: The return of the Rocket Pitfall. Teeheehee That was really coolies.

    I know that Pokemon anime is really long and that the storyline of episodes do get repeated but to tell the truth this one was really really really just cut and copy of characters. The writers almost all the time do a better job but this one was just really bad in my opinion.

    I thought it was like Bicker, the Better from your posts (still didn't see it), but didn't feel like it had the sexism issue. Which is good, as Bicker, the Better is one of my favorite all-time fillers.

    Anyway, if Reyna is correct (I'm sure she is), once again, they don't know how to pace. So, you'll be expecting a lot of complaining from me on that front. Whoo-hoo.

    I think we can call this "cut and copy" method, "Copy and Paste," now. Okay?
     
    This episode was fairly annoying mainly because of Dawn . The only good parts were with the Sinnoh now people.
     
    IMO,the only good part of the episode was Dawn,but the writers could be more original.It hasn't been long enough to be copying already.
     
    I was hoping for better bgms..those that were in the ep didn't fit in at all :(
     
    One thing that bothered me was that The Champ Twins battled several times in a row without giving their Pokemon sufficient time to rest and recover.

    On the other hand, I loved when Jessie kept trying to steal the spotlight from everyone, she never met a camera she didn't love. :laugh:

    Anyway...I will say this about the comparison you all are making: in "The Bicker the Better" 4Kids (and probably the original version as well, judging by the animation) was playing around with the whole Advancedshipping theme. At least PUSA didn't go there, and thank goodness they didn't.

    I'm annoyed that, once again Ash lost to a couple new trainers. Honestly, he's beaten Feraligatr before, yet...I also wish it was more clear why he picked Turtwig over Pikachu. At least Pikachu wouldn't have had the fire weakness.

    Another bit of confusion: where in the world did TR's cowboy costumes come from??

    Enjoy the comparison, and 4Kids left the script intact, actually.

    And I didn't infer ship in that one as more, "get out of my face101010102!" It's what you'd expect when you hang around someone for a long time: bound to get on the nerves.

    I'm also happy that they didn't go for ship issues here, too. Given the fact that the Haruka version of this plotpoint wasn't addressed until 72 episodes in, while Hikari's didn't hit even 30 (29th episode).

    Says a lot about Hikari's personality, doesn't it?
