Another amazing group who does amazing collaborations is a group named Télépopmusik . Some of their most amazing songs include:

I don't know the general music taste of members on here, but I'm recommending these artists anyway....

Annie (Norwegian Pop Singer) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zN8_YhOeXL4 (Not her best, but a good indicator of her work)

Alexandra Burke (X Factor Winner 2008) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zd6UaA3f8GY [Her album is pretty fantastic, she worked with RedOne, Ne-Yo, Stargate and loads of others]

Paloma Faith - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ki0xBb2wbr4

In love with all of them. The Brits on PC will probably know Paloma and Alexandra, but it's more for the benefit of those outside the UK.

Mother Love Bone:
Little known band Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament were in before Pearl Jam; They were going to be one of the best out of the Seattle scene, but their high expectations were tragically cut short when lead singer Andy Wood died of a heroin overdose only weeks before their first LP was released.

IMO This band is nothing short of amazing.
