Dot hack? Watched ten minutes of that once...that poor show was swept to the every-other-saturday-in-the-dead-of-night timeslot with Gundam SEED, but I couldn't get past the chibiness of the characters...I suppose it's for the best, I would have never been able to see the entire series anyway if I'd started watching x_x

You must have been watching .hack//twilight. That's the follow up anime of .hack//SIGN, which is not chibi, not cute, and not funny D: So....that's probably why that anime was so laid back; because of it's serious predecessor.Chairman Kaga said:Dot hack? Chibi's make cute drawings, but I wouldnt' want to watch a chibi-anime.

Actually, I really hate 'omglookatmeI'mcute' animes, like DigiCarat or Tokyo Mew Mew. They just seem to be cute from lack of creativity of the plot D:
