The Children Are Hunted

Ash moved to pat Van's head with a smile. She decided to ignore the stupid humans like them. They were the kind who... well, she was trying to move past that side of herself so... Giving up, she went over to her cousin, who grinned at her innocently, blood coiling up his arm like armor. "This will be fun, huh Ash?"

"Something like that Mickey," she agreed sweetly, grinning the same as she pulled a pair of weighted-knuckle gloves on, letting her Aura hum a challenge. Kira smirked. He hoped the Lucario felt that. How would he feel about a human's challenge? Would it wound his pride? The other hoped so. It would wound him more in the end. Because in the end, he would lose.

"This was... your camp?" Zoran asked softly as they touched down. He clipped Dora away, letting his Psychic type relax. No need for her to run out of energy yet. Alyss nodded quietly. It was obvious. None of them had remembered to get rid of any traces. Oh well. Alyss pointed at the Gym before turning away. She was going to look for Silas. Zoran bobbed his head and went down the path. The Gym looked wrecked. Good. He liked that. Entering hte gloom, he breathed a sigh. Ah, much better. A perfect place to play.

Someone, a woman, stepped from the shadows. "Who the heck are you?"

Zoran glanced at her, almost scornfully, before smiling innocently. "Will you play a game with me?"

Anger.

"You know what's about to happen here. And you're still going to leave? Really? Even if it weren't safer to stay here, you would really just take off on Thomas and the others. That's cold man. It's humans like you that drove me to join the RDM in the first place!"

Tony looked at him with anger. "It's your kind that drive people to join other companies to the AAPM. People who make them feel cold and anguish because they don't understand the circumstances. It appears I'm not leaving." he looked over at Mark and Clair who were with him. He sighed, "Look I'm sorry. But, you have to understand that this is...this doesn't involve you, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. Sorry."

It was the first time he truly felt angry. He looked down. He didn't know what was about to happen. But, he knew it would change things.

Thomas grimaced and let the light penitrate his body. He felt it toughening his muscles and reinforcing his body. It even sharpened his senses. When the heck had he learned to do that?
"You didn't. I did. Remember how this feels, because I will not do it again," Esper said, his voice oddly hollow. Thomas nodded. Now wasn't the time to question the cat. Esper had probably spent more time learning about Thomas's powers than he had.

Van shook his head at Tony.
"It doesn't involve us? Then who exactly does it involve? And what makes you so sure that this doesn't involve you! Those guys out there are going to fighting a major battle here! Do you know why? Because the RDM is after us all. Like it or not, this is your fight too. And you want to run from it? Fine. Get going. But don't come crying to me when they catch you because you're all too stupid to realize that there is strength in numbers. Winny, how are those barriers coming?" Van said with disgust as he walked away from them all. Those three made him so mad! They were all going to fight for them, and they wanted to just walk away!?

(OOC: I have a bad feeling about this. Zoran's about to pull some horror movie stuff!)

(A mixture of horror movie and a Yugioh reference. You should have a bad feeling. Roserade said I could make her go nuts. XD)

Zaria gently scratched behind Esper's ears, recognizing his discomfort and knowing she couldn't really do much for him. She could see where Van's anger was coming from but she thanked all the gods that Ash had calmed down and chosen to ignore those three. They had pressed her button. Being in Dawn had taught them to never abandon a comrade, even if you went down with them, not unless told to get back up. Even that got disdain. Those who did were the worst, lower than the majority of humanity.

There was no point in being angry though. They would think it was self-righteous and wouldn't believe it. She sighed. This sort of thing was a little confusing.

Mickey looked between them all and groaned. "I think this is the one time I'd recommend a friendship circle." Ash laughed slightly derisively. Like anyone here would sit still for that!

~~

"Play with you brat? Are you nuts?" Toni glared down at him. The boy simply kept up his angelic smile, placing his hands behind his back. Strange, the brat wasn't backing down. In fact, even in the dim light, she could tell he was mocking her.

"Yep!" Zoran chirped, walking closer to her. "Three-on-three fight! All or nothing on a special battlefield. The loser gets a punishment game!"

"And the winner?" the woman asked, curious despite the shivers running up her spine.

"You'll know if you win!" he replied happily, pulling out his first Pokeball. "So..." he asked, holding out his Pokeball to face her. "Will you play with me?"

The woman scowled. This boy was making a fool of her. That was forbidden. "I'll play." The AAPM agent had nothing else to do, few challengers had been to Stonehenge since that other kid. But this guy was awfully young to be here on his own. She led him to the battlefield with a snort. This was probably something stupid, like a squirt gun to the face or whatever. But it was a Gym Battle so... time to get serious. She walked to the other side of the field, seeing the boy pull out his Houndoom and pat its head. It looked at her, growled once, and snorted.

Her eye twitched. Even the mutt mocked her! "Let's play," Toni sneered. "Go Armaldo!" The Bug-Rock presented itself, staring down at the boy with wide eyes full of malice.

Zoran merely smiled again, lifted one hand, and pointed to the middle of the room, where a shadowy blob had formed. It expanded and exploded around them, turning the Rock-attributed field into a mass of darkness. As the field settled, bright enough for them to see yet dark enough that distinct features were unable to notice, out came Cody. "Game...start!"

The Marshtomp was unusually serious. Without waiting, he blasted Armaldo with a jet of water, making the opponent skid back. Toni paused a moment, then coughed, feeling as though her chest had been dented in. It was a heavy pressure, crashing into her heart almost. It ended the second Cody stopped attacking, causing her to struggle to breathe for a moment. She looked up, panting, to see the boy smiling, unperturbed.

"Are you okay?" the boy asked innocently. "What happened?"

"You know what happened brat!" she snarled. "What the hell did you do?"

Zoran tilted his head, confused. Then his eyes lit up, a sadistic light. "Oh that. Armaldo got hurt," he explained childishly. "So did you. It will happen to me too, if you manage to hurt my Pokemon. And every time they faint..." He just grinned. "Well, I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise would I? What I wanna know is, will you last the whole game? Most of the time people don't last past one Pokemon. A full team... I've never tried that. Probably never will. So... it's a really big game of Chicken!" He looked at her. "What's your move?" Doom barked quietly, wondering if the others could sense this high-powered darkness even from where they were.

(Thanks for the answer, Roserade.)

Garet nodded. "Yes, we're very likely going to need Merin in on this. With his rank, though, it wouldn't be a good idea for the three of us to just order him in here. And he might have other orders, for all we know."

"I'll contact him," Leo said, closing his eyes. He extended his Aura-sense out of the room and looked through the base until he found Merin's Aura. Stretching out his telepathy, the Lucario relayed to the Psychic Pokemon, "Merin, this is Leo SkyHigh. TruthSeeker, Hawkeyes, and I are discussing a way to capture the CTs, who are just outside Venice. We need to know if you're able to take part."

Garet stared at Leo for a few moments. I'll probably never fully understand telepathy, he thought. "Anyways, since we don't fully know how to fight the CTs, and one of them doesn't seem to have displayed his power yet, we may end up distracting as many of them as we can while someone sneaks in to put them out of commission. First, though, their barriers."

(OOC: Ah the references!)

Thomas grinned and pet Van. The little fox was understanibly angry, but that wouldn't help things at all. His mind erupted and he fell to the ground and began shaking.
"Thomas!" Esper cried. Thomas didn't answer. Esper became frantic. He examined Thomas's memory. A rather powerful shadow had burst out, and Thomas being the light had felt the thing the hardest. He had never felt it that strongly before. It wasn't even targetted at him. Tracing the Shadow back to it's roots, Esper could see why Thomas had freaked out. Zoran had some fool trapped in some kind of twisted shadow game. Thomas slowly came to his senses.
"You guys don't even want to know what Zor is doing," Esper said grimly. Thomas cried out.
"That's what you get for falling on me!" Van said, crawling out from under Thomas. Thomas got up and held his arm. Van had bitten deeply into him.

"Barriers... Well, you both already know how to get through Winny. They likely have sometihng to do with Arua, as they have at least one Arua user with them. I hope that Skyhigh is as capable as I was told. And also... that espeon will likely have made some barriers of his own. Not to mention that the light user could possibly make some shields. I don't know enough about how his power works to be sure though," Trigger said. He shot a glance at Leo. He didn't like using telepathy. The only way he could, thankfully, was when Winny talked to him with it.

Ash shivered. "I think I have a good idea what that nut is up to," she replied, shivering again. "He did it to a scientist once... you think you broke people's minds at that base Esper, you have no idea what that is. I was on the other side of the campus the day a kid pushed him into it... felt awful..."

Zaria had sensed it too but she hadn't made a sound. "That was the Gym Leader right?" she mumbled, trying to picture the moment. "That fake Leader. I guess he knows she's not the right person... or..."

"He's bored and angry," Ash muttered. "I almost feel sorry for the lady"

~~

"Fury Cutter!" The rapid slashes from Armaldo slashed at Cody's tough skin. Zoran saw the slash marks on his wrists and frowned. Cody then grabbed Armaldo mid blow. This guy was over ten levels higher than Cody for sure but...that was what made this fun!

"Cody, Whirlpool okay?" His Marshtomp nodded and the darkness was filled with waves, surrounding Armaldo. It slashed desperately and Cody easily dodged through the water, slamming into the opponent expertly and firing him into the water with a jet of mud. Toni let out a howl. The kid's Pokemon were much weaker than hers yet Armaldo was getting pummeled. "I thought you would have noticed by now," the boy called. "Because Cody's lower in level, he's gaining more experience in this fight than ever! Soon he'll have closed the gap with one thing. So thanks for helping Cody evolve!" Cody fired again, leaping into the center of the vortex, watching Armaldo get blown everywhere.

"I'm being played..." The thought ticked her off and in desperation Armaldo slashed at Cody chest, causing a large wound. Zoran placed a small hand over his chest. He was bleeding.

The Anger Within.

"You are mixing two entirely different things. This is something about me finding out who I really am, okay? Do you understand? So unless you know something about who I am or what happened to me at age five, then this does not involve you." Tony looked at the Pokemon angrily before realizing something. "Age five. I was five when I was abducted."

Tony didn't understand how to feel. He had learned something new about his past, a memory he hadn't recovered when he woke up from that sleep. But, he had learned it through rage. He closed his eyes and began to speak just as the Pokemon walked away, "Listen. You don't walk away from a conversation, do you understand how rude you are being? You don't even want my help, so why are you getting so mad about me leaving? I know there is strength in numbers, why can't you just mature to a point where you understand that others are having problems. Bigger problems than the RDM. Do you even know anything about me? About my friends?" he was about to walk away but he managed to add in, "Sorry about what I said, but thanks for listening." He would never give them the satisfaction of calling him a hypocrite.

Van looked at Tony like he was a moron.
"I am worried about you! I don't want you to get hurt. And I'm sure the others would be happy to help you find out the truth. But this is just too dangerous right now! And What I know about you and your friends is that you are Mia's brother and you three are in danger. That's all I need to know! And being with these guys has taught me that there are some problems that can't be solved alone. But go right ahead and leave if that's what you've got in your head to do. It's not like I'll stop you. If I tried, I would be no different than the ones I'm fighting. So good luck, I hope you find what you're looking for. But remember if the RDM gets you, you'll never find out what happened!" Van said with finality in his voice. He was done talking to this stubborn child. If he didn't want them to help, then so be it.

"Heh, I don't. She hurt Van and Esper. I have no sympathy for her," Thomas said, surprising himself with the venom in his voice. Still, he meant it. Whatever Zoran did to her was too good for her! Esper sat down purring at them all. Thomas looked at his arm where Van had bit him. His arm was bleeding a little. Oh well, he would be alright. He decided to let the others handle the situation of Mark and the others leaving. He was a little touched at how much the little fox had grown. He was worried about people he didn't even know. That was a big step from thinking all humans were trash.

Ash shook her head. "That's only because you're not there," she hummed to herself. Zaria looked between Tony and Van and blinked in confusion.

"You guys are angry at each other for the same reason," Zaria mumbled. "Deep down anyway. You're both being hypocritical. Why don't you guys stop a minute, stay alive so you can get your answers, and then we'll help you get them?" She looked at Tony. "Your memories will wake up no matter when you get them back. And there's a bunch of stuff bigger than the RDM but the RDM's who's going to stop you from finding your answers and for all we know, could have wiped your memories. We should all try to figure this out and stop being so angry. It's not helping and neither is you," she looked at the three. "Pretending we're not your friends and have no right to try and help you with your problems."

Oh no you didn't.

Tony was about to retaliate when Clair took his place. "Hold up one second, when did I get pulled into this? I was just trying to help my friend feel better about his father being kidnapped. What would you do if your friend was going through a bad time? Would you let them rot in the same place with their sadness? No, you wouldn't, because from what I can tell, you seem to be a reasonable person. And don't even say that I'm involved because of the RDM attack and whatnot because I know I'm involved. I'm an actual adult here and everyone is acting childish. It's best to put everything behind us and start fresh."

"I didn't bring you into this! I've been talking to Tony! And I know I can help you find Mark's dad. I'm a great racker! I just need to be where he was last, and I can follow his scent right to him!" Van said simply as he licked one of his paws. He glanced up at them. He was willing to go help them. Thomas wouldn't need him after this was all done. If he could be more helpful with these people, then he would do that.

"You may be right. I wouldn't know. Like you guys said, I don't think I want to know what he's doing," Thomas said. Marcus suddenly got up from the ground and walked over to Mark.
"I just had an idea. You know how you used Esper's powers before. I was wondering if you could do that with mine. I get visions of the future. Maybe it would help you find your father. Maybe I can actually be useful with this, because the fight that's about to happen I kind of can't do anything to help with. So... What do you say?" Marcus said. Thomas smiled. Heh, that might actually work.

(OOC: You can make the vision up if you decide to go that route. After all, Mark would be the one to experience it. Just remember that at this stage, Marcus's power is hazy and generally useless. But you can get some usefull things out of it if you try.)

Conversation = Over. Surprise Attack = Now.

It happened so suddenly. The attack came from the back of the RV. The simultaneous laugh. Then, the explosion. Tony stopped looking at Van. He stared into the eyes of the man. It was a person he had seen in the vision. He knew it. The eyes, the chin. It was him. But, it wasn't a man. It was a woman, not much older than Clair.

"That's the guy you told us about?" Mark asked. But, Tony couldn't respond, he was too scared. The woman marched forward, a mask hiding the left side of her face. "Who are you?"

No response.

"Wait a second. It's the hooded figure from the forest. One of the Black Ones." Clair screamed.

No response.

Mark looked at her. No, this was no Black One. Over her shoulder, was Dust. The one who had helped him escape. Who was this?

The woman looked at them and extended her hand. From her direction cam a huge wind storm, with energy that of a tornado. It blew across the scene. Mark felt it. No, it couldn't be. Impossible. But he had only had this feeling when he met Thomas and again when he met Zoran.

"She's a... she's a CT?

*******************************************

Agatha cringed when she saw her there. Arlanda was supposed to be in the RDM Base. Perfect. The only CT they had was gone from the sky base. The power to control storms was a great one. One that could terrify thousands. That's how many of the hurricanes had begun. This was terrible. Now what was she to do. She radioed into the other officers , Garet, Merin, and Leo. Some others as well.

"Attention. Massive action in Venice. Agent A has escaped. The fourth CT!"

*********************************************

Merin had just told Garet that he would be able to help when he got the message from Agatha. The fourth CT? Arlanda had been hard enough to find. For now, she had been in Louisiana. But, he had been able to find her, even if it meant terrorizing Louisiana a bit. In the state she was in, she could kill. Who woulds she find next.

"Leo. Merin from China to Venice. Gonna need backup. Sending you coordinates now."

Thomas leapt into action. He had felt the disturbance and was ready. He ran in front of everyone else and blasted the wind with his light and it caused another explosion.
"Get back! I got this!" he shouted to everyone else. Esper joined his mind as he prepared to fight.
"Who are you?! Answer me!" Thomas yelled at the woman. He was ready for anything. He knew he could handle this himself. Van began tugging Marcus's pants and they moved a safe distance away. Mia was with Tony.
"Tony! What's going on?" she asked. Robby had been knocked out by the first attack that hit the RV.

Light. Wind. Darkness. Amplification.

(OOC: By the way, she may seem a bit godmodding, but she's unstable.)

"That's a CT!" Mark yelled. He watched Thomas jump into action and attack with his light. The girl responded by sending a lightning bolt straight down by Thomas' side. Mark jumped up, using his power to maximize his speed. Then, the girl shot out water that sped him back and into a tree. The ground began to grow muddy as rain tormented the sky. Electricity exploded the RV, leaving behind a burnt up casket of what once was.

Her voice sounded robotic, "I am Arlanda. Creator of Disaster."

"Everyone, let's go!" Clair commanded all the Pokemon to rush up and attack. Fright was taken down by water and Volcan was washed away in the process. Charmander and Geodude fell when struck by lightning. Then, the wind proved to strong for the others.

"Why are you attacking us?" Tony yelled as he tried to use Alakazam and his combined Psychic.

"You are to blame! For everything that has happened to me!" she screeched as another tree was uprooted and sent flying towards Mia and the others. Tony stepped in front and tried to stop it with his Psychic but was overwhelmed when Alakazam fainted after being struck by lightning. A tingling sensation was sent through his body. Mark got up and tried to cover her in Earth when she sent off an Earthquake. The world vibrated. The trees toppled over. Mark was pushed back, then Clair moved forward.

"Calm down. Calm yourself, and stop attacking us. We can help you."

"Nobody can help me. Not after the trouble I've caused. Katrina!"

Clair had gotten through to her. But soon, the wind grew stronger. The Earth continued to shake. Hills became mountains. One by one, the group was separated into different parts. Clair realized Katrina meant the hurricane. She had caused all that damage? How, why?

"Arlanda! Stop!" Clair yelled, looking around for anyone. But she was alone. The wind began to swirl. Oh no, Venice is near water. She's going to make another hurricane.

(OOC: No problem. Time for Thomas to do something awesome.)

Thomas defended his friends from getting hurt. The light was just as powerful as her weather powers. He didn't flinch when lightning struck next to him. He saw Robby laying on the ground hurt. Esper yowled in pain and left Thomas's mind. Thomas hoped he was ok, but he had to stop this. He turned into light when she began seperating the ground. He flew to her, returned briefly, grabbed her and sent them both into the light.

Esper shook his head. He couldn't sense Thomas anymore.
"Thomas!" he yelled in fear, not really caring who heard him. Van got to his feet shakily. He glanced over at Robby, who had Marcus next to him.
"Robby! Wake up!" Marcus pleaded. Oh no! Everyone was hurt! Van took a step and yelped. He looked down and saw a very large cut in his leg. Winny got to her feet. Thankfully, her shields were still holding. That prevented most of the damage from spreading to the city.

Thomas let go of her and stepped back. They were in a flat unbroken plane of white. Thomas realized that in here, his eyes worked perfectly. He charged up his power. They were in the light, but she could now summon weather from anywhere the light touched. Which was anywhere in the world. He would let her wear herself out and then maybe she would be more reasonable. One thing was bothering him. He couldn't feel Esper anymore. And he couldn't reach him. He waited to see what the other CT would do.
"Well Arlanda, what's it gonna be? We gonna stand here and blast each other until neither of us can move, or will you calm down and let us in?" Thomas said. He shimmered a little.

Crikeys. The Light Burns, mate.

"It's as if she doesn't understand any English! She's gone mad!" Mark yelled, hopefully warning Thomas. The wind began blowing harder, the lightning grew stronger. It didn't seem like anything was changing. But then, everything slowed. The Earth was still shifting, creating mini volcanoes and disrupting the balance. Pokemon began running in from the forest, Mark could see a familiar Merin blowing away in the distance. At least the storm . Where was she getting this limitless source of energy. The answer came as he was climbing to get on the same level as the two battlers. Dust. She was using dust for energy. He ran up to Thomas. He was hit with a lightning strike and charged up. Limitless energy could only be fought with limitless energy.

"Thomas, where are you! You have to short her out. She has limitless energy because of the girl she's holding." Mark couldn't see where they were, but he hoped Thomas knew that she wouldn't run out of energy. He had to find a way to get to Thomas.

Clair couldn't see anyone she began to climb down and back up. She sent out her Dragonair, Bagon, and Fraxure. The Pokemon stumbled out as they helped her climb out of a volcano she had slipped into. She moved through the destroyed field. Lightning shots stopped falling all around her. Dragonair was too scared to fly. Clair looked desperately for anyone to help, but they were all gone. The only thing she could see was a massive light show by where Thomas was and where Mark is now..

Ash whistled gratefully at the destruction of the vehicle. "Saved me the dynamite," she called appreciatively.

"Now is so not the time Ash," Mickey yelled as the girl casually blocked flying debris.

"Of course now's the time," Ash replied cheerfully, getting back to her feet. "Everything's hit the fan. It's the best time. She smiled casually and returned her Pokemon, clutching them tight to her chest as Mickey recalled his own. Zaria floated anxiously over to them.

"Am I glad those two left," Zaria commented. "Alyss would have had a field day."

"Man it sucks when you're right."

~~

Cody's whole body began to tremble as he struck Armaldo again with a Take Down. Zoran swore the armor was cracking. Glancing back at Toni, he knew he was right, wondering if she could see through her chest yet. Cody's body kept shuddering and shining, growing, changing to something at least twice the size he had been as a Marshtomp.

Wow, Cody must have been really strong I got him... I wonder if it's over. That was when Armaldo fell, as the glow faded to reveal a Swampert. However, Cody looked very exhausted and weakened. If he hadn't taken that second to evolve, he would have passed out. Zoran could feel it. He looked over at Toni, waiting for it. Then she let out a scream. Cracks appeared all over her body, dripping with black. "That's one," he mumbled sweetly as her eyes rolled back into her head and she slumped to the ground, her body cracked.

"Are you going to give up?" he asked her, returning Cody. Zoran wouldn't blame her. He had experience "punishment" before and even his mama's training couldn't compare to the sheer suffering it dished out in all ways. The screams... But this woman had pride. He doubted she would give in this easily.

True to word, she stood up and returned Armaldo with a snarl. "Cocky brat!" she sneered. "Let's go Steelix!" Out came the large, silver snake, it roaring violently at the boy. Doom barked angrily.

"Cheat!" Zoran accused happily.

"He evolved from Onix! Too bad!" Toni cawed as her body healed. She looked at herself in surprise.

"It resets," the boy said happily, glancing at his now unwounded arms. She still didn't get it! Amazing! He glanced at Doom, who barked excitedly. "You wanna go Doom?" He nodded and barked. "Well, okay then! Get it!" The hound yipped and yowled joyfully, running head on.

Toni snorted. "Prepare to lose! Steelix Bulldoze!" Steelix charged back. Zoran grinned and Doom fired a Flamethrower as he skidded to a halt... the flame aiming at the eyes, causing both Pokemon and trainer to howl.

"Oops," Zoran hummed.

Thomas heard Mark shouting. Of course she's gone mad! Everyone does when they pocess that kind of distuctive power! Thomas had too for a time. Wait, she was getting more energy? From where? Thomas switched to his light vision and groaned when he realized he had pulled someone else with them. He blocked a lightning bolt. He had to do something, but what? Standing here blocking would not help. On his best day, he would have just as much, if not more power than her alone. As it was, he had strained himself bringing the three of them into the light. And she was feeding off of that other girl. He needed more power! He stepped aside as a fissure tried to open under him. He had to seperate those two, but he couldn't. Not without help. If he tried, he may be able to, but then he wouldn't be able to go back. He hoped that Mark would think of something. He knew that kid was smart. His mind returned to when he had first tried this. He knew who to ask, but would Mark? He returned fire, blasting a light missle at her.
"Calm down! Focus! If you keep this up we'll be stuck here forever! Is that what you want?" Thomas shouted, knowing it would not do any good.

Esper got back to his feet. His back was sore. He had been right there when a bolt of lightning caused the ground to blow up. He ached all over. He looked around. Ash and Mickey were ok. They were standing near the twisted wreck of the RV. Robby was on the ground, hurt. Marcus was tending to him. Van was laying on the ground whimpering in pain. Esper limped over to him. His leg was bleeding badly. Esper couldn't make a more qualified statement than that. He was almost in a panic. Winny was sitting down nearby, holding her arm. She waved him off. She was fine. To bad Thomas had called the rest of his pokemon back when this started. Amber would have been able to help. Mia was still with Tony, staring at the spot Thomas had disappeared in with shock.

Voices?

The lightning was still flowing through his body. Mark could feel it pulsing, giving him new energy. Something he had never felt before. He remembered Dust's words.

You are so much more than you think. You can control power.

Power? He shook his hand. The electricity bounced off his arm. Maybe, for a short while, he could control another power. Lightning is composed of light, right? So...analysis?

Problem: Thomas vanished in some kind of light show.
Thoughts: Lightning has the same build as light.
Solution: Produce a light field that could possibly show where they were taken.

Mark's eyes glowed, his body glowed a matching bright yellow, so bright any who saw would have to turn away. The light show spread though the field, showing light off n every direction. Soon, a slim hologram was produced. It was Thomas? How?

"I'm here to help! Thomas, just focus on your power."

Mark's hands turned from yellow to white. He could feel the pressure pulsating from inside. The girl's blonde hair matched the scene. Her torn shirt and skirt seemed cruel. Obviously, she had had some hard time. Any time Thomas was ready, he would be too.
