hold on, shiny you might be right. Zam is having the same problem in EGL. Nintendo might be doing maintenance on the system.
jack, see if your router needs new firmware, thats what happened to me.
Probably maintenence. Think of everyone who was on when it shut it down.
And I still can't get on, Kuro. Sorry. Maybe some other time. :)
Okay, then. No problem. Until then.
I really am sorry, dude. Wifi isn't working at my place, even though it was half an hour ago. It isn't working for other people either. It sucks, cause I know you've been trying for ages to get in. :(
Using Scarf leaves me terribly walled by Steels, Rocks, and Ghosts because more often than not I would be using Facade, and it also makes stopping my attempts to sweep much easier easy because I can only choose one move.
Guts requires my opponent to use a status move which I can't always predict or use a held item (thus no choice scarf as you suggested). However, Thunder Wave is a LOT more common than Will-O-Wisp, and Quick Feet makes the user ignore the speed drop from Paralysis (although not the fail-to-act chance). Also, Swords Dance Facade will murder just about anything that doesn't resist it.
My Ursaring does have a bad moveset though. In retrospect I am not sure why I gave it CC and Crunch over Fire Punch and EQ. Crunch only helps if I see a Levitating ghost (Read: Gengar) and don't have a Swords Dance in already (dusknoir walls me out when I have Crunch-NoSD and with SD Crunch has a minimal OHKO chance and EQ 2kos for sure), and CC is probably only better than FP or EQ versus Cloyster, Wallrein, and a Cursed up Snorlax and doesn't help versus Skarmory, Bronzong, or Metagross.
Well we are still waiting on ABYAY's participant list so we can't start yet anyway.
