Not as in bf gf. I meant as in good friends. I just like making little <3. They look nice. XP
 
Hmm I richard I have girly hands too. From playing guitar and stuff. My basketball coach says, "Goddamit son you look like you're caressing the ball more than gripping it" lol. Because I have long slender fingers. I can't help it lol.
 
Haha, I think I just wrote the longest paragraph for a part of an RP ever. XP
I like to write and sometimes get carried away. I got logged out from here twice while I was typing on word. XD

:laugh: yeah, i dont write that much but when i am really in to what i am writing i kinda get carried away too. its quite funny when you think about it.
 
Auraoa, do you still have those EV boosting items? Cuz I'd like to borrow the anklet and the bracer.
 
Awesome, ok, I'll just give some throw-aways, but don't get rid of them cuz we're gonna trade back so you can keep the power items.

Oh, dude, same here. I could never break a finger, just because my fingers are insanely long and straight. Really, perfect piano playing hands. I played the violin for about two years, then got bored with it, so I taught myself piano, and it was the smartest thing I've ever done. Nothing beats going to a formal party where there's a grand piano; because there's always some douche playing Fur Elise. Then I sit down, play chopsticks, wait for a laugh, then crack out Piano Man, or the Root Beer Rag. ;) I just hate organized classicism.

Oh, and Pupluper and Auraoa, congrats! Now that you traded items, if you two ever become un-paired, would one of you be entitled to half of the other's items? I kid!

Just to keep this on-topic, I'll now accept any "Clan" challenges anyone may want to throw at me.

oh sweet, im not the only guy who enjoys the piano! i to am teaching my self to play the piano but it is hard! i am not good at it yet, i still need much more practice! Richard, you think you give me some tips on to use both hands(most challenging part of the piano for me) and good songs to start out with?i tried starting with the...SUPER MARIO BROS. THEME!!!!!!(well DUUU!!:cheeky:)

I used to play the piano for 2 years cuz my dad FORCED me to. I hated it. The piano teacher was mean too. That's why I never really ever played it again. I can play by ear too so I can learn any song I want on my own. I played the Zelda:TP theme song on it once. I only like playing songs I like.
 
I used to be great at it, but lost my skill overtime. Ima re-teach it to myself.

The one thing I'll never forgive my mother for is not making me take piano lessons when I was way young, because that's the peak time to learn. When you get older and your brain develops, it's extremely difficult to play with both hands. I still sometimes have trouble with it. My suggestion is to practice both hands separately - make your hands learn the piece. Once you do that with, say, the left hand melody, then play the right hand and try to cut off connection from your brain to your left hand. Eventually, with enough practice, it will just flow.

As for tips on starting pieces... there are plenty. The Moonlight Sonata and Fur Elise, both by Beethoven, are usually standard. Heart & Soul is standard too. Just whatever you do, don't just jump into Tchaikovsky without learning proper technique. That's a great way to destroy your hands, so learn to keep your wrists up, and move your wrist, not just your fingers.
