I guess the last team I made didn't really cut it for me. Specs mence or any other user isn't really up to my prediction style, because of switching out when blissey comes in, and that stealth rock is out it usually decreases my pokemon's hp fast. I used to always get the edge in the beginning of battles, so I've kept my classic lead, Lum Gross, and a few pokes I have never used before, notably Gyarados and Heatran. I guess this turns out good, because I've been trying to find weaknesses all over.. For some reason, It doesn't seem right. Without Bliss, and the excessive 252/252/4 spreads, I'm really not sure, but I've been needing something to counter platinum things and also to fit my battling style, so It's an offensive-ish team? or maybe just a weird ass team, i'm not sure. Crits in some places would be GREAT. I don't have much of an opinion on heatran/cress/gyara, so I'm listing standard (or semi standard).

I've recently loved this as a lead. Lum Berry takes care of Paralysis and Hypnosis by Gengar or Bronzong, whilst giving me a free Stealth Rock. The HP evs give me the right amount (around 40%-80%) In damage from Earthquake no matter what, also giving me a free Stealth Rock, or any type of attack. Thunder Punch is used to counter Gyarados earthquaking metagross, and it receiving a OKO thanks to the Atk EVs. Bullet Punch can usually 2KO Azelf, but they're just going to either set up rocks or flamethrower, which I will still be able to survive. Meteor Mash is just for pure, destruction of walls and other pokes that try to counter metagross with an earthquake (notably Tyranitar). I've just loved this thing, really. Only 1st place with Machamp behind my list of awesome Anti-Leads. I haven't seen one, but I'm pretty sure Thunder Punch/Bullet Punch/Meteor Mash will OKO yanmega. I'm not sure. OH, and Bullet Punch destorys Gengar, no doubt. The only reason I used Thunderpunch > Ice Punch, is that Salamence leads would either A. Flamethrower, B. Earthquake, or C. Over predict or Switch out. Over predicting would be pretty stupid in the beginning of the game, and can give me an upper edge. Which would ALSO give me free stealth rocks. My team needs to rely on it.

The EV spread isn't anything I'm really aware of, but I think it's supposed to counter common threats that usually OKO with Stone Edge? I'm not really sure, but I've heard and seen about BulkyDos, so I'm just gonna fit in with the crowd and use it. I don't recall thinking about having Gyarados, but the fact that Metagross and Gyarados make a great dup is good enough for me. Gyarados usually switches in to Flamethrower/Earthquake/etc, which is what Gyarados resists. If Gyarados were switching out, Metagross would be taking Stone Edge/Thunder Bolt/etc. which, in fact is what Metagross resists! Also, I chose Ice Fang over stone edge, because I'm pretty sure stone edge was just for other gyarados, I have that covered. If Salamence is in the situation of needing stone edge to be OKO'd (im not really sure?) Gyarados can just Ice Fang is way out of there, but unfortunately I have a lot less coverage without stone edge, I might consider EQ > Taunt. Taunt + Ice Fang on gliscor can work really well, but I'm not sure if Taunt is worth it. Earthquake could give me great coverage, OKO starmie (which I have not seen in a while..) and do some decent switch in damage on Vaporeon. Dragon Dance and Waterfall are all just boring standard sweeping moves, hah.

I used to love Heracross more than anything, back in the shoddy days it owned as a lead, but then I realized that it has a lot of weaknesses as a lead now, so a middle/end game sweeper can do just as well. With max atk, speed, and scarf, It's got 403 speed, and 383 attack, which in my eyes, it's just screaming out "Physical Sweeper!". I guess the exception of a bulky gross and bulky gyara, I need something fast and physical. Megahorn destorys cresselia and celebi, which is who might be physical walling. Close Combat just kills blissey and por-Z, both of those moves are pretty standard and expected. Stone Edge can take out Gyarados, Salamence, Dragonite, and other flying threats (which is again standard). Pursuit and the other moves can be a hard decision, pursuit can usually OKO celebi on the switch, night slash can usually destory nonscarf gengar, but sleep talk can be suprise status absorbing and using guts to his advantage... hmmm...

I used to run max HP/max speed scarf zapdos, just to get rid of my gyarados problem that had 2 DDs up, but now I should have solved that problem, and I have a full on zaptank. I wasn't sure what the 36 speed evs were for on the smogon standard page for zapdos, but hopefully it wasn't super important.. hahaha. Roost is just for basic recovery, T-Bolt is for STAB, and heatwave is just for scizor, who is walled by this set COMPLETELY. I'm really split between sub and hp ice, hp ice can be very useful but about 98% of people expect hp ice on zappy, but sub can raise my walling and sweeping capabilities, and can be VERY useful. Oh well, I'm probably going to use HP ice anyway..

I've never used Heatran or Scarfran in my life, but it seems pretty legit, with two pokemon already weak to fire, so a flash fire switch in should be in order. Dragon Pulse > HP ice is due to Stealth Rock damage is going to KO, I might go Modest due to the power of Dragon Pulse and Risk an EQ, but Timid with 252 spe evs could basically assure speed tie'ing or outspeeding other Scarfrans. I've always feared this thing in the past, notably because my dugtrio would try and wouldn't kill it >.>. If someone could do some dmg calculations on Timid and Modest about the SR damage and max/min attack power, that would be greeeat. I already wrote all of this up and enough homework as it is, and I have pizza waiting for me n_n.

I didn't really want to use bliss, so I used this pokemon instead. The EVs might be really meh for a special wall, but I guess 120/130 defences weren't bad for it. Maybe I should replace it with Blissey? I'm not sure. Moon Light is for recovery, Ice Beam for coverage, Thunder wave is for my very needed support, and Psychic is my best bet against Gengar, but Lunar Dance or Reflect could mean additional sweet sweet team support it needs. I'm not sure on this.
If you read all this, thanks a lot. It took me about 45-70 minutes to write all of this, and I made the Nicknames on spot, hahahahhaa.
