I realize this could possibly get me much more than a slap, so Fii consider this from just a normal PC member and not your pair.

I also don't know how well that is going to read, as I'm not the best when it comes to writing long things like this.

Nowadays the only difference between TCTI and The DCC are the users who post in them.

People who post in TCTI usually don't post in the DCC because their closest friends on PC don't.

The fact that these close friends stick together and all choose to post in TCTI may be the reason some people don't like it.

Them posting in TCTI might feel like they're intruding on the group of friends, or they choose not to post because they dislike some of the people in this group.

These people choose instead to post in The DCC.

Creating another thread in Other Trivia is pointless because all you would be doing is pushing members even further apart, and encouraging the childish refusals to post in TCTI because of the people that post in there currently.

I also think there was a certain amount of favouritism that affected the decision to allow this new DCC.
Fii has said to me that if any other member were to have created that thread then she would have treated it no differenly and waited to see how it turned out.
I honestly don't believe that, and think that it is being affected by not wanting to upset Nica.

If this were someone else's thread then I can guarantee that none of us would be caring about how badly the thread creator wanted the thread to exist.
It would simply be locked because a similar thread already existed.

I rarely post in the DCC, so I don't fit into this conversation. x_x; Anyway, I don't want to say anything that might offend anybody, especially with Nica here. So, I'll just leave this thread at the moment. XD

Well, I have to agree with Joey and Went on this sorry :x I'll post in both like I do now, but I just don't see the point. I would just like it if TCTI was stickied. I think it should have been over this new thread anyways. And yes, I love Nica, and it may have upset her. But if it upset me, or one of the other ones, would it have mattered as much then? I dunno. and I don't really care. I think it's all been blown out of porportion.

I'm not entirely sure where I stand on this issue. TCTI is great and all, but lately the conversations going on here would really only make sense if you spoke frequently to ones that post here a lot. And when you post something that doesn't really pertain to the current subject, you'll usually get ignored, making TCTI lose the best thing about it: that anyone can pop in and have fun. Now this DCC thing may or may not solve this, but the way I see it is that the same people that post in TCTI will post in the DCC thread too and this will start all over again.
