Eye-catching pictures/photos are the best.
There's some Touhou ones I have saved on a different computer that have dark backgrounds but the characters really bright. They're my favourite. o3o

Eeh, infractions would actually just turn up the heat. Wouldn't be a totally great move. XD; Sometimes people just forget something so simple as the actual meaning of a contest, so Fi getting in there and doing her job ahead of what might have been loldrama was a great move. :O

Moar banned members and locked threads. The first step to becoming a great mod is to be a hated one. The more hate mail you get, the better job you're doing as a mod. You'll know you're a great mod once some disgruntled member makes a thread about you. XD jk, this place is kinda laid back so I don't think mods need to be that way here.

Well, looks like things are still going somewhat poorly in the Prettiest Profile Contest thread. Ah, I'd like a next time for it, but if some people are gonna act as they did after hearing who wins, then I don't want one anymore.

And I personally think the step to becoming a great Mod is to act like everyone else (though Mods pretty much do that; they're people too, after all), and only give warnings/infractions/etc. if absolutely necessary.

And I think anyone who Moderates a fun forum like this has to be a great Mod. 'Cause it usually means they're fun too XD
 
If this keeps going downhill like this longer, I think closing the thread would be the best call :<

Oh, and I like the "Moderator note" notice from before. Reminds me of the other forums I'm in XD
