Si. That lovely accent unique to the French language (I think... XD).

One of my favorite words to use in Spanish is "Gelato"! Not "Helado", "Gelato"! Because my Spanish teachers always think I mean "Helado", but there's a difference XD

82569

Yes, and so does Gelato. But Gelato is Italian, and plus it's unique compared to other ice creams. And it tastes better, in my opinion <3

Surely you can't use Italian while you're speaking Spanish? XD

82570

Gelato means "Hello I'm Italian" XD

The word for that is helado.

82571

And Fi: no unless you want to confuse people to hell XD

82572

I do it to be a female dog sometimes. To show I don't like taking Spanish. I know, pathetic, but... XD

And Gelato (I think) is its own kind of ice cream. 'Cause of all the strange exquisite flavors. Like rice and apricot.

Oh, and in Italian, "Chocolate and Mint Gelato" is "After Eight". I mean seriously, you say "After Eight" if you want Chocolate and Mint Gelato in Italy XD

Does it seriously? XD

I thought that would be the case. It's like using Spanish while talking in French.
My friends do that in orals; "Me llamo ____ WAIT. NO, JE M'APPELLE!" XD;

82573

You say that too XD After Eight.

And Gelato is not a brand that i know here o_o; Ask anybody and they'll see "That's the Italian for Helado, isn't it?".

You can say "Me llamo" or "Yo me llamo" (because you have to add "me, te, se, nos, or os" if a word ends in "se"; "llamo" is really "llamarse" or "to call"), or "Yo soy" ("I am").

But, you have to know there's a difference between "Ser" and "Estar". They both mean "to be", but each can only be used for specific reasons. It's confusing X_x Then again, not as confusing as Chinese, in my opinion XD

I can see where the After Eight thing is coming from. But seriously. XD

82576

82577.

I used to eat After Eight only when it was after 8 PM.

...

Yay for being a gullible kid. :D

Not really, calling by phone is only "llamo". Calling as in my name is is "llamarse" yeah. The "se" means the speaker is the who suffers the action.

And "ser" means that you are x forever (I am tall - soy alto), estar means that you are x in this moment (I am bored - estoy aburrido). Estar is also used for gerund forms "I am waiting" - "Estoy esperando".

Speaking of gullible, someone taped something to the ceiling with the word "gulible" (they didn't spell it right XD). So, when I was trying to get my friend to look up, she thought it was a joke. The next day, I tried again, and others helped me this time. She looked up and was like, "Oh, it really is there!".

Ah, the joy of being gullible or not wanting to be gullible at all XD

82580

Yay, more Spanish! I'm actually starting to remember my Spanish classes now...
Edit: That "gullible" thing sounds like something I read in XKCD.

82580.

Awesome tale, I bet she was stunned to have been gullible at all. XD

Sae, you really were the most gullible coolest kid around. :D

Stop it with your Spaniard talk. It confuses me. :[

That really is amazing. I may try it sometime. :3

82583

Well, she WAS a grade below me, though that doesn't matter as much... (we had a Geology block with the eighth grade at the beginning of ninth grade, so yeah)

I used to be so gullible. I fell for "Did you know gullible isn't in the dictionary", like, every time X_X At the same time, I didn't know what "gullible" meant, though XD Those darn older stepsisters of mine D=< Ah, they're cool, and they're all in college (though I think one graduated from it) anyways :3

I've never fallen for the gullible tricks. I've always been aware of the word when it's mentioned. XD

82584

82585.

Of course I was, thus it led to many a goofy and horrible situation in my childhood. :D;

82586

I've always been gullible, but I'm not as much as I used to be.
