I really want to find a Buddhist to talk to. And not some random person from the UK/Australia/US who claims to be a Buddhist because they meditate. I want to talk to someone who actually was born and raised in a Buddhist family.

Buddhism is the only major religion I don't know a lot about.

well Buddhists have gods though the original Buddhists didn't. Also Buddhism has six realms of Existence, which include Hell,ghosts, animals, Akuma (demons),Humans and Devas.

It makes me sad too, I hate people who mistreat animals. How would they like to be treated like crap, and stuffed in a cage with little or no food or water.
