    Anyway, this is the first (and if God is merciful, the only) installment of Pete Merwin: The Croconaw Hunter...

    Yeah; you're right. I kind of wanted it that way, though. It was kind of a ploy on me not taking the comic very seriously... or it's not taking itself seriously... or something. Anyway, it was supposed to be pixely and weird. But I think it's crap anyway, so whaddo I know? :P
     
    Hehe... That was funny. I was actually imagining Steve Irwin's voice saying all that! But as some said, it's kinda pixely. I still think it's good though.
     
    Hmmm a good comic. A few things I see a little wrong would be those zoom things. They look pretty good but need some work. You could try to show a little more expression on Petes face. In the 6th panel theres no shadow on the rock like in all the others. Other than that its pretty good. A nice solid 6/10 I believe this comic has potential :D.

    Thanks, Goatman! :D I'm glad you graded me so fairly. And I think you made excellent points. I've decided that for the next ones, I'll use the same kinds of backgrounds, but I'm going to draw the characters in Flash (I'm better with that, anyway, lol) instead of modding sprites. I really hate the whole Pixel-perfect thing, lol. I've got a few ideas for the next one, so hopefully I'll be able to do a better job with it. :) I'll keep these around to remind me of my failing points so that I can improve on them.

    Anyone have any good ideas on how I can improve the speech bubbles? I'm not really satisfied with them, but I can't figure out how to make them better. -_-; Anyway, thanks for the reviews and comments, guys!

    The only thing I founf wrong with it is that it was too pixely. Other then that it was good.

    This is the kind of art I'm talking about. I took one of my sprites and drew it in Flash. Do you guys think this will make the comic look better? I like it. I think it looks kinda cartoony, but that's okay for this sort of thing. What do you think?

    (BTW, 8/10. The only room for improvement would be adding more detail to the background. I say keep the sprite version. It is a sprite comic, after all! ;))

    I had to laugh out loud when Merwin just popped outta nowhere, "CROIKEY!!!". It would've been a testiment to Steve's craziness if Merwin had popped out of the water instead of zooming in.

    Great comic! I enjoyed reading it and I'm looking forward to your next one. =D

    MetalMario, their posts were not spammy. They were somewhat short, but not all post have to be long.

    Anyways, that comic was pretty funny. ^o^ I love how Merwin popped outta nowhere shouting "CROIKEY!!!" That had to be one of the best parts. I can really imagine a voice similar to Steve Irwin's voice speaking. XD I really like this comic, but it was kinda fuzzy... I think the drawn out characters would be awesome in this comic. Great job!! I can't wait to see more of your comics! ^-^
