Today, The CW has launched! For those who don't know, The CW is UPN and WB merged. I'm happy because I never had WB before. XD

    Your thoughts?

    I don't watch it much.

    Better stations to see.

I rarely saw the WB and I'm pretty sure I never saw UPN.

on the local side of things

On the local side of things... the Flint area and Tri-Cities (Saginaw, Bay City, Midland) finally got a CW affiliate signed on the analog airwaves sometime last week. It wasn't until yesterday that I found out on the Buzzboard that WBSF (the station's call letters) had started analog over-the-air broadcasts on channel 46 sometime last week.
It had been running for a couple of years as a digital subchannel of WEYI, and on some area cable systems. It was originally WB WEYI is the NBC affilate for the Tri-Cities and Flint (CBS until 1995-WNEM-TV5 carried NBC originally). They (through their owners Barrington Broadcasting) operate WBSF.

I've watched some WB, but not really recently. I didn't even know they were merging. It will be interesting to see how it works out.
