Maybe it's the fact that grocery store mushrooms are grown in caves...pretend that they grow in sunny fields =p

I actually hate mushrooms, they're nasty, especially truffles =x
 
first, The Fly, welcome and have fun here.

Second, no matter what or where they are, they scare me...it's like they affected me in a past life or something...even tough I don't believe that much in a life before...

third, it's not entirely off topic. I STILL do the numa numa dance! XD
 
Have you tried anything that tastes like mushrooms? I mean, tasting something similar to a certain food can make it less creepy...it worked for me anyway...
 
The only chance that has of actually working is if you sneak them on a food I like without me knowing, and I eat it. That has yet to be done but no one in my family likes mushrooms because of the taste...and I don't like them cause of my stupid fear. Nice try though. his has to be the best idea yet.
 
Oh great...NOW this pops up when I'm SIGNING OFF AFTER 2 PMS! Oh well. must be my 'unlucky' day! :laugh:

The current topic was how to conquer my fear of mushrooms...but anyone can fire up another.

I don't think it's funny..
I'm afraid of heights and even after being on airplanes, huge slides, and other things, I still haven't conquered my fear..It may be the same for you..or not..
 
I also have a fear of heights....
