MXC was so funny when I was younger. Used to stay up to watch them. Now, Ninja Warrior has replaced that.<333

Ninja Warrior i find to be a lot better than MXC, or, if you wanna call it by its real name, Takeshi's Castle.

today i saw two 1 second parts of Ninja Warrior's 1st Competition before they started the 2nd competition. lets say this. A lot of the obstacles were dangerous. The barrel climb has two inches of water two fall in and if looked at closely, was made of foam barrels. Also the reverse conveitor belt had a much smaller space to crawl through. All in all, it looked very easy.

You double posted.

Also, Ninja Warrior is on the 19th competition and the challenges now are 10x worse than the 1st competition's.

No way, dude. Nagano is going to get it again. Him or Shinsuke Nagasaki. Those two are..amazing. Nagano will perfect it again.

Duh, what else is there to talk about? Ninja Warrior is amazing.

Nagano owns my soul.

Nagano is my inspiration. Without him i wouldn't be exercising and be doing active things today.

To bad i cannot send in a video submission for the American Ninja Challenge. Another 4 years and 8 days =[

Yeah... if I ever attempted any of those, I'd be in that water every time... D: Some of them look painful, like the one where you're doing the splits, or the other one where you're jumping in the air doing a half-split. It's so weird how in Japan, that's their kind of entertainment, whereas in North America, we see a bunch of game shows where people win money, and that's all. ^^

Well, the reason for that is because America is sue-happy. The Japanese have tons of weird things because they aren't easily offended nor are they ignorant and stupid like Americans.

If Americans get hurt on a show, they sue for damages.

If a Japanese person gets hurt on a show in Japan, they laugh it off because it was their idea to participate in the first place.

That's why we have no good reality shows anymore. Just cash prizes on cheesy game shows.

Hence why Ninja Warrior, MXC, this Tetris game, and others are so common there.

I hope we Canadians could laugh it off. D:

That's the thing that bothers me about North America (we Canadians are pretty much to blame, too.) We don't have a sense of humour to just laugh off things like this. If I were to show this to my parents, they would be like, "who the hell would possess them to do this?" and think that Japan was crazy or something. It's on our news, too, I was watching Countdown with Keith Olbermann and on his Oddball segment, it showed a clip from some Japanese game show. He was not impressed. We are not impressed. It's a shame, because if we did have more of a sense of humour, we wouldn't be watching the same old crap on television every evening. D:

Wow, I just got done watching Ninja Warrior earlier. I wouldn't mind taking a shot at the course myself. Though, most American challengers I've seen on the show fail miserably. :\
