They're actually pretty different o_o BB code is simple and restricting, and only used on forums really, while CSS is relatively complex and allows for much more freedom, and hence can be customised more.

I think Jake actually silently introduced the CSS tag [at least, he did when I was still a staffie], so I don't know how it spread... D:
 
Well, all you really have to do is define a background colour and a border, iirc... although I never noticed that it was all that epically different, except for the limitations it has.

I tried to make a table with 2 rows and 1 column using the power of CSS borders. I can't remember the result all I can remember is that it looked nasty and I got rid of it immediately.. XD

But yeah, it does have heaps of limitations.
 
I'm sure you could make a banner that looked like it was infringed with CSS coding. XD;

The way people put the CSS coding..

I think it would be feasible for someone to actually design a banner that looks like it's been encoded with CSS but in actually reality, it's just a simple banner with no CSS coding at all! :o

It boggles the mind. @_@

I think I understand what you mean. I thought you meant making a banner entirely out of CSS. Instead of using an actual image, you'd use CSS containers 1px by 1px thick. Theoretically that's possible. Maybe I should try it when I'm really bored.

Probably, if it was one of those really simple banners. xD But I wouldn't really like a banner like that anyway. Vice-versa, it might be interesting.

All I can do at this point is remove some text and increase the width of the box. It may still be messed up for Audy, but it should be fine for Erica and Ray.

Also, protip for Audy: It's O'Neill with two Ls. There's a Colonel O'Neil with only one L. He has no sense of humour at all.
 
It showed up as squished for me earlier, but now it's showing up in your box, so I suppose you're doing fine. :3
 
The last word ("productions") is outside the CSS. :( Maybe... try changing the line height? I dunno. :\
