Whenever I see the word "applesauce" I think the word "applause" in my brain...

And whenever I see the word "pilates" I think "pirates"...

Oh man, guys. I start school tomorrow. And it's Friday. So I have one day of school, then a 3 day weekend, and then four days of school. They's stupid.

I'm really nervous because I'm taking AP Calc [which I think is the hardest math class my school offers] and I don't know how many of my friends are in that class that I can work with XD;

Actually yeah. Same ._.

School doesn't start back up for me until next Tuesday, but I pretty much already know all the classes I'll be put in. Last year it was mid-level classes all across, except drama, which I got put in an advanced class with like...20 other people, which really didn't make it seem like such a big deal to me anyways. Seriously, all you really have to do in that class is show up regularly, and you're almost guaranteed an A by default xD;

Man, I wish we had an advanced Drama class D= Our school isn't too big on that though. We have Comedy, Comedy 2, Acting, Acting 2, and play writing. I've taken both acting classes, and this year [my final year!] I'm taking play writing. I never wanted to take comedy, they do improv in there, and I'm terrible at that. XD

Nah see, we don't have any of that in our school. It's just Drama (Or performance art...whatever you wanna call it) 1, 2, or 3, and that's it. It's understandable though, seeing as..no one really takes it anyways xD;

Honestly, it wasn't even my first choice for an elective. I actually signed up for gym class because that's what most of my friends were taking, but they ran out of slots for the class, and I just got thrown into whatever class was left, which happened to be drama XD;

Haha, we had to do some improvisation...it sucked T_T

Dude, improv is the suck for me. I am really bad at coming up with stuff off the top of my head. XD; The only thing I was good at was the nonsequitors. [or whatever they were called... the completely random things]
Me: Son, would you like some help with your homework?

Me: ... Your brother is taking ballet.

Do you have an after school drama? That's what we have, and now it's an independent study class! He calls it theater production. It's pretty cool, actually, because you get a grade for it, but it can only help your grade. =]
 
Ok what are we talking about now? Electives? I have to do Music and..Tech (Tech is SO good!)
 
"Tech" is usually not good, in that you make crappy little things that have no use nor ornament.
 
Well what I actually meant was, that the stuff they teach you in compulsory school about "tech" is usually about making stupid little projects, when you could be actually learning something useful about "tech".
 
I took Computer Sciences last year, and it was amazing. *__* Some of the programming was very difficult at the end, but the exam was incredibly easy. Not only that, but the teacher was fantastic.

But this year, I couldn't take any interesting electives because I already had to drop two classes for Co-op. I really wanted to do Anthropology/Psychology/Sociology and Computer Sciences, but I chose to to drop those two classes to do Co-op instead, so I hope that it'll be fun. n_n I took Chemistry and Biology as my other electives, so I hope they're interesting as well.
 
Middle School electives are.......... less than exciting. I chose photogrophy, wich was just introduced to my school this year, only for the 8th grade (score). Besides that, I am pretty sure I will be taking a drama class. Hopefully that will be fun.

I haven't joined any clubs yet. I am a little hesitant at the beggining of school to join a club, because I am not sure what it is really all about yet. But that is wierd because that is when you have to join clubs....... *slaps forehead* ah' whatever. I am sure I will be fine.
 
You guys had photography in middle school? Lucky!

We don't even have middle school here. We hardly even had an arts program in my elementary school. I mean, we had art, drama, and music, but... we didn't do anything. We couldn't afford proper art supplies or instruments, so there was not much we could do.

I regret not taking photography in Grade Ten, though. :/
 
Well, here in Brazil, I can't even choose my classes!

We have to take whatever the school throws at us, like Art History, Music and Philosophy, plus the "obrigatory" subjects, such as Mathematics, Portuguese, Physics, etc.

Oh god our educational system sucks so much.
 
believe it or not, back when I was a youngster in high school, I took Aviation (Ground School) my freshman year along with an introductory into digital video and photo. it was all really rudimentary stuff back then, but it gave me the basics I still use today.
