The Daily Chit-Chat [2008]

I went to a zoo in Sanford, Florida. Most of the animals had nice sized spaces to roam around in. But there were a few that cramped like 5 monkeys into what looked like a 10ft x 10ft area. Poor little monkeys.
 
The zoo's boring. D; Whenever I go, all the cool animals are sleeping and you can't see them. >.>;

Usually I feel like I wasted my time there. D:
 
If you think the zoo's boring (which I think as well, for the most part XD) imagine how boring 'Bird world' is. I was taken to that place so many times when I was younger, because my old school used to arrange a lot of trips there. x_x
 
I have never been to the zoo in England before. Well in America it was one of those drive-thru safari trips. o.o'
I remember the monkeys… they wiped their asses on the window. xD

Be glad they didn't poo.
I still have the picture of polar bear poo in my mind.

There are some zoos where the animals are kept in cages.

For some reason the scar on the inside of my nose popped and now I have a huge painful concavity in it.
 
The zoo used to be one of my favourite places to go when I was younger. D; All the Grade Ten sciences in my school get to go to the zoo as part of their field trip. Of course, that's the only reason I was looking forward to Grade Ten science; I heard that the zoo trip's a good one. My class got the new teacher who didn't believe that the zoo was "educational enough" so we went to a conservation area instead.

You know, it's hard going to a conservation area in the middle of fall when everything's either hibernated or gone south for the winter. >;
 
Ahh the zoo, it is such a calming place, I really like to see the Alligators and birds, and often endangered species. Last one I went that was real, was the Houston Zoo. Such a cool place, I didn't get to see it all, and the Northern sector was under construction. Too bad I go to fake zoos all the time. And those only have one animal. Seriously, Other Room Zoo. Special Showing: The Brother. Arrgh, He almost ruined the last real Zoo I went to +X-0.

Yea..... It seems as though monkeys like to do that xD. No joke when I was at the same zoo that my family adopted a baby giraffe, the monkeys were doing some obseen stuff.
Monkeys are cool, yet pretty mischievous if you ask me. xD
 
Yeah, Monkeys are alright... but Sloths are what it's all about. I mean, they just eat all day. Chillin' on a tree and eating for the rest of your life; wish I could do that. And not become fat. D:

Sloths hardly eat anything at all. Sure, leaves, but those aren't very nutritious or filling. They have atrociously slow metabolisms paired with a slow digestive system that can take weeks to fully digest food. The reason why they have such low weights is because their bodies are comprised of mostly stomachs -____-
 
Monkeys are in my list of awful creatures I hope to see the least of in this life. Or maybe I've just seen too many of them already.
Never really seen a sloth, actually. They must be pretty lazy creatures to have a sin named after them.. or is it the other way around?

Yea you are wrong. Apes and Humans decend from a common ancestor. Humans do not derive from monkeys, they derive from a common ancestor.

Who couldn't like a species of animal that throws their own poop?

Haha that is funny. Good idea. i did the same thing with my freind who hates hippos. She says they are nasty. So I got her a hippo mug. (she likes coffe)

I don't particularily like monkies either, but I don't dislike them.. I mean.. come on.. it's just an animal..
 
I can't say I'm fond of a creature that goes about my neighborhood emptying my trash can, eating my food, throwing my trash all over the place and then flinging a complimentary piece of youknowwhatsit on my front yard.

And apparently humans aren't descended from the monkeys I'm familiar with. I always thought it was chimpanzees o_o"
 
Btw, human's are not descended from apes, humans and apes are descended from common ape-like ancestors. Look it up ;)

Please, someone change the topic before this gets into a God/Evolution debate. Nobody likes those.
