The Daily Chit-Chat thread used to have better days, days when the members of this forum didn't discuss monkeys for four days and counting.

Moving on, I've never really liked monkeys. Well, not since I went to this Safari nearly a decade ago and I was having a drink of orange juice. I was sitting at a bench with my family, looking rather innocent, when the monkeys attacked and stole my orange juice from me. No, I'm not joking.

Has anyone ever been to a Safari before? And no, I wasn't bending to Yamikarasu's will. I, for one, actually enjoy debating about evolution and God, even though the subject is pretty ridiculous.

Edit: I decided to post this to end the evolution/God debate in case it starts:

Woah if this is turning into "Evo vs God" I'm staying out. Let's just say the days god made earth where measures of millions of years and Basta.

@Oni Raichu: Nice. I totally agree with that. <3 As annoying as macros can be, I acually lol'd slightly from that one. ._. I'm a sucker for outdated internet memes anyway.

Olympics, meh.

I don't watch TV much nowadays, heck, I even missed the Opening Ceremony, apparently it was really good.

Wouldn't expect less from the chinese. XD;
 
Chinese go over the top with certain stuff.

Grant Hackett came 7th in the freestyle, thats terrible

TV is Crap, as a kid yeah watch TV but it sucks only crapy cartoons come on well here in the UK. I sometimes watch decent programs but thats all. On the Internet I can read, listen, watch what I want to. My Tv is just a screen for the Wii and DVD player!

I did watch some of the Olympic games this morning (even know I woke up late today), I thought it was fine to watch it. I keep thinking that it's weird how they put Baseball and Basketball in it, for this year :x
 
I've peeped at bits of it but it dosent really peak my intrests. I did hear that a coach's family got stabbed... :/

Mmhmm -- the father-in-law of one of the Olympic coaches was stabbed and killed, and his wife is in bad condition in the hospital. They were attacked during a guided tour, and I believe the tour guide was injured, as well, though I don't know how badly. I'd heard their daughter was there, but only once in passing, so I don't know if she was attacked or not. I hope the injured pull through -- the attack was terrible. Definitely not a good way to start the Olympics for the poor family and guide.

Other than that, I've really been enjoying the Olympics. I only get to watch bits and pieces thanks to work, school, etc. during the day, but I've seen some awesome swimming (Yay breaking world records!) and water polo. I caught a glimpse of the kayaking today -- That's something I'll be sure to keep an eye on. It's just too cool!

Hmm, decided to check forums while at lunch. No TV here, so news on Olympics is delayed. Apparently we're still doing well in swimming, at least.

But if new topic is wanted -- it's the middle of the week. Do you guys have plans for the weekend?

Have to check in with the SM when I get home, I think I'm going to start going into rehearsals for another show, so I'm excited. =D
