My school too has many computers. But the problem is we are only allowed to access one site which is an interactive thing made by our school. The site sucks, all we can do is post articles and stuff like that. We don't care about that 'cause we only have 1 hour class in a week. During that time, instead of going to computer class we do something else with the permission of our principal. Anyway nowadays, when I reach home, the first thing I will do is login to PC!!
We have to do computer projects, but we do it with our computer only not with the schools.
That's where the citations come in handy. If you need to confirm information in a Wiki article, just scroll down to the bottom and click the links given. Most articles do have them.
It's just that people tend to take the Wiki article at face value without corroborating the information given in the article with other sources. Again, that's why they have citations; you're supposed to check them to see if the Wiki article really is accurate.
I don't know what i'd do without the internet to look up things. I never look in books for information, it's just easier this way to find exactly what your looking for.
Also, you can make sure that your information is genuine and proper by simply crosschecking it with other sources. Although i guess you still can't be sure :\
On a related topic, i have over 7 peices of homework due for tommorow, 6 of which are coursework (mostly overdue from last year). And i'm pretty sure that i'm not going to get that many, if any done today. -_-
Does anyone else find it incredibly hard to just, get on with ther work?
