Okay, well watching the first 10 minutes so far... Is gut wrenching... I can definitely say that the director sucks, the director of photography sucks and the actors suck as well as the writers...

1. Voice overs at the beginning of films, especially for books to movies is usually seen as a cop out, and an easier way to explain stuff... Bad decision...

2. Kirsten whatshername (aka Bella) is already a bad actress as far as I can see...

3. Why try to cut down on movie time? I mean, Bella stares out the window for less than two seconds (to notice the Cullens), and immediately asks who they are... Because no one else is that important in the cafeteria... jeeze... Not to mention, she wouldn't be able to see their "skin condition" among other things...

Yeah...
 
Ugh my ex girfriend is obsessed with that movie, and probably Robert Pattison. Lol. I don't get why women are so crazy over him... He looks kinda strange to me. But I suppose if you land a lead role like that, you are automatically the hottest guy in the U.S. haha.

Did you know girls actually have fan factions over who is better (hotter)- Robert Pattison or Taylor Lautner? They're all go team Taylor- Ooooo. My god. Lmao.

Anyways Harry Potter>Twilight Imo:) Hogwarts FTW:X

Okay another gag worthy moment, Bella sees Edward Cullen for 1 second, and asks who he is, then proceeds to have an orgasm(?). I swear to you that's what she looked like she was doing... Not to mention the dramatic music to que Edward's importance...

I know what you mean. My cousin loves him, but I actually don't find him that attractive. I believe it's probably his sunken cheekbones and his pointy jaw. Not to mention his eyebrows are a bit thick for my liking.

He IS a pretty damn good actor though. There were subtle things he did in the movie that interested me. :3

But a Twilight fan? Nope. I am totally not.

I don't know who Taylor Lautner is though ._.


Edit: Also.. is it just me or is Zack Effron beginning to look like Michael J. Fox?




Feign.. music and soundtrack is one of the most important things a movie could have. Of COURSE it's going to be obvious. It always is obvious to ANY movie. Watch any scary movie or kung fu movie. Watch how the beats of the music go with the accents of the actor's movement.

It's all freaking planned :/

I don't take Film. But I take Animation.. sooo.. we have to analyze these things in all liveaction movies, too. Our teachers encourage us not to just say that a movie sucks.. but to analyze WHY you think it sucked :/ That's the key.

Anyone remember that cheesy, guitar music they'd play in either cop films or tv series, well just as Bella comes into the bio lab, they play that music, where Edward appears to gag, or something...

EDIT: NOOOOO! DON'T DRAMATIC ZOOM IN ON HIS FACE... UGH... WHO THE FUDGE WAS DIRECTING THE CAMERA'S... OBVIOUSLY THEY KNOW NOTHING OF CREATING MOOD AND SUCH...

EDIT 2: Bad grimace face is bad... Can the acting get any more horrible in this? (Oh wait... it can... just replace the cast with Disney kids, spike up respective stereotypes, and you got yourself something that cannot be unseen...).
 
I didn't think Twilight was bad at all. It seemed like a regular Teen movie to me. Not high budget or anything. It wasn't the worse thing I've ever seen, but not the greatest either. I do have to say it was moderately enjoyable.

I'm glad that there were no major mistakes at least.. like :/ When the father shook Edward's hand.. I was thinking "Wait isn't he ice cold?" but then in the next shot he had gloves on.. which explained it :3 So I was content.

Though there was one point where he was showing off his glimmering body where I was like "What he's wearing a button down shirt?" and then in a couple shots later when they were lying down I could've sworn I saw him wearing a regular Tshirt.. :/ But I was too lazy to rewind it to check..
 
See but when I watch a movie, I look for everything. Such subtleties, in general can make or break a movie (even if it may be subconscious to a viewer). Camera placement and action in particular, as well as music... Gestures whilst acting is also important. Thus far Twilight has failed all three of these, which makes the movie difficult to watch...

:/ He's not bad.
He looks much better in pictures and with short hair than he does in the movie though.

Either way.. I'm not picky about guys.. but.. for me to fangirl and outwordly say "OH MY GOD, HE'S HOT!" the guy would have to be absolutely gorgeous according to my personal preferences in men. :/ It's just because I'm not verbal about that stuff.. and I find that just about any guy can look attractive with a good fitness and healthy eating plan, some proper grooming, and great fashion.
And every guy has a good feature about them. I'm not picky, but at the same time, I can be overcritical about when it comes to a "perfect hot guy."


Edit: I found that girl's acting to be horrible. That doctor guy and the father were both pretty good.
:/ They should hire a new girl though. I don't even know her name.

And when your GF is a Twi-hard, not much else to do but sit back and watch the relationship tank.

I'm not into those vampire books. I like those fantasy series like Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. The Indiana Jones books and Star Wars novels. And the Potter books will always be better than the movies.

The Tales of Redwall is another series i like.

Along with Captain Underpants...
 
I think I'd make it a point to a girl I met, not to date someone that liked romance books in general anyway. XD

EDIT: Okay you know the part where she almost get's hit by the car, then everyone runs over to her aid, well they should edit that, where the show a lot of people around the world running as though running to her... That's how bad it was...
 
My dad is discussing Looney Tunes and how its all racist and political and stuff. real annoying.

But you've got to look at the era the cartoon was made though...

And I can't believe I'm just past 20 minutes right now...

Unless if you wanted your brain destroyed, or you needed to watch this movie as per an example of bad cinematography, then no. XD

APPLES DON'T BOUNCE THAT HIGH WITH A SIMPLE UPWARD TAP... IMPOSSIBLE PHYSICS!! (Just like how on G. I. Joe the ice apparently sinks)...

Why do directors have to be stupid? I mean even explosions, even if you are far from one, you would still feel the shockwave, come a bit close and you'd even fly off the ground a bit... Does the majority of this happen to actors? Nooooooooooooo...
