Heh, I got accepted at The University of Toronto(aka the one I wanted), but they accepted me into the wrong program. I finally decided on Carleton instead because not only did they accept me into the program I wanted, but they threw a scholarship into the deal. XD

But still...I could have been in Toronto now if I had chosen UofT, heh. And I wouldn't have to think as much about Anime North costs. =P

We here in Tasmania, Australia are SUPPOSED to have started school for the year, but apparently Year Twelves don't start for a while, I think we go back next week. Besides the usual of Maths and English (they're more or less givens) I'm also doing two separate computer subjects and Pathway Planning. Man that'll be fun.

I got lucky - my dad works for the Uni I got in to, so I kinda had a foot in the door. I screwed up my A-Levels (like, senior year of high school for US-people) due to a variety of things, so I thought I'd never get into University but I did, doing Forensic Science.

And I agree with Xairmo - sleep while you can!

UofT is weird. :| I applied for Computer Science on their downtown campus only, right? So of course, I end up getting accepted on their other two campuses first. By the time they finally accepted me downtown I'd already sent in my acceptance elsewhere. XD;

My top choice was University of Waterloo and I actually got in. I'm so happy to be there. ♥

Heh i just got accepted for a new college

I know its nothing to be excited about but it means i can do what i like and go where i want to go

Sheffield al the way...though i have never actually been to sheffield

I'm working on my Cornell essay tonight for transfer to the College of Agriculture and Life Science from my community college.

I also applied to SUNY Oswego, SUNY Geneseo, and Siena College, all in New York. The SUNY stands for State University of New York of course :P.

I'm going to be a Communications major everywhere except Siena if I go there, where I'll be Biology.

I'm just gonna go to my community college to do my General Ed, because I don't see the point in paying a big university twice as much for the same thing D:
But after that I plan on going to a State University <3

I should get working on this 500 word essay I'm supposed to write for this History Tour Program thing at my school, in grade 11 (next year) I'll be able to go to Europe for 2 weeks if I get in =D

I'm planning on going to one of the two state universities, as I think I can get more scholarships there and they're cheaper. I don't have enough money to go to a private school ): But with a major in political science, hopefully.

Has anybody here taken the ACT/SATs (or the equivalent for you non-US people) yet? I'm taking my first ACT in April and I'm kind of nervous.

Oh hey, I inspired a topic. That never happens. o.o;
But yeah, found out I got into Brock University as well, but there's a saying around here:
"If you can walk, and talk; you can get into Brock."

So... I dunno. XD
That's often coupled with "if you can hold a fork, you can get into York". XD;

@Lexy: We don't take any equivalent here in Canada. We have standardized tests in grade 9 and 10 in Ontario but they aren't... really used for anything. I guess the literacy exam in grade 10 has to be passed to pass high school but it has nothing to do with your university application. (Also I almost typed @seaclipse XDD)

I got accepted to Misty State and Ash & Pikachu Prep School 8D *shot'd*

On a side bar, that quote can be taken out of context in an inappropriate manner ._.;

Oh, Xairmo. You're totally right; it can. But only you and me would think of that. Because I have been corrupted by my class.

On a side note, I don't have school tomorrow \o/ And I have gone back to my old ways of stalking the DCC.

SoCal & Univ?

Well I remember we had an earthquake here in Los Angeles back in Summer School '08 =P I was taking Chem. We finished our work for the day and I was on the PC on PC or reading Bleach was it?

I just went on reading while the ground was shaking and calmly searched for earthquake info on the 'Net to see how fast news comes out. Turns out the earthquake was a 5.5.+ and that the Web is slow on news. XD

As for college. I was checking out ways to get FAFSA aid and all that stuff by the start of HS. =P I went on some field trips to Universities and am currently thinking of going to a University of California. (Maybe even Berkley if I can O_o) or maybe the University of Southern California? I try to keep my options open, but I'm leaning Pre-Med now...

Edit: There's too much fluff!!! *Torches the fluff*

LOL I haven't heard that, but I've met some interesting characters from there. =P

And you know what I did today, guys? XD I got to see Obama's motorcade go by my university. :D

I knew he was in the area today, but I wasn't going to go downtown to see it. Instead I went to school to have some lunch. However, when I got on to the bus to go back home, I found out that the road going by my school was blocked off because the president would be going by. So, since I couldn't get home anyway, I stood out and waved as he went along. ^_^

XD I may also be on the news, as there were two television vans nearby. If anyone sees it, I'm the guy in the black coat standing not too far from the sign saying "Carleton University: Come Again President Obama." =P

That's pretty lucky Zam...I've never seen a president before ;___;

@ Lightning: I have a calc test tomorrow, so that's pretty much what I'll be doing tonight XD

Yeah, my first calculus midterm is on Monday night. ;__; I'm so worried about it because there's so much to know.
