Funny how nobody wants a job where they're actually doing something useful. It's always game designer or artist or journalist, never farmer or engineer or miner.
No one seems to want to get his/her hands literally dirty anymore.

Everyone just seems to want to be in a big office, with a big salary coming his/her way by the end of the week.

Still if everything goes right I will be doing something useful and making sure the lazy jerks behind the office desks who eat at fancy restaurants only are well fed and ready to push people around for the economy to go round. XD
Yeah I guess you are right its not that useful but it helps tourism grow If I ever become a great chef for my country!

The average household has a cooker and at least one person able to use it.

I'm part of a dying breed, it seems.

I actually like doing labor based jobs. I often go for stockman over shop floor when applying for a job in retail. I don't know, there's just something so much more rewarding about feeling absolutely destroyed because you know you've worked yourself to the limit.

But my actual dream is to be a creative director for a company ahahah. Still, I have a long, long way ahead of me before that's a reality.

I wonder if anybody in this site is part of that breed? [/loves gardening]
Planting flowers (as per example) doesn't get anything done... unless you're a beekeeper or are actually planting food-bearing plants.

My father has been putting potatos in the flowerbeds where shrubs and hedges used to be, it's quite funny to see.

I help my mom plant and water tomatoes, peppers, and mints. Sometimes, we try for pumpkins, but they somehow die. :|

I also try to cut the grass and take out all the weeds, but procrastination kinda gets in the way a lot of times. XD

Well that's good.
It's a large fruit in constant contact with the ground, and there are a lot of small things that would eat any part of the plant they find; perhaps a naive opinion but I think squashes really aren't worth the time or effort because of the overwhelming dangers they face.

Do you think that turnips or potatoes are squashes as well?

Pumpkins are squashes? o.o
I always thought that a squash was a squash...the only squash I thought I knew was butternut squash.
Owning a farm seems like rigorous business @_@

I always (and still do) hate eating anything with squash in it. It's disgusting and my taste buds just reject it. >;P

Even pumpkin pie isn't considered good when I take a munch off it. :'(

Pumpkin juice~~ </3

Me too! I hate any type of squashy food XD

Ehh, some squashy foods I like (pumpkin stuffs, uhh... what other kinds of food are there like that?), while others I don't (heh, squash)
Just something about the mushiness and the stringiness that just makes me gag.
