I've had the week off school, but that's because I've time off for university open day visits. xD I'm off to the University of Bath tomorrow, then the University of Birmingham on Friday. My mum and I are staying overnight in Birmingham. =0

How come you are looking at Unis already? Unless you are lieing about your age. xD.

I may go to Birmingham next year. It willl be either. Keele, Birmingham or Liverpool, and if none of them work out I am going to go for being a Policeman.

yeah but this is my LAST week at primary school so never see anyone in my class again basically but then again I got bullied all my school life for who I was =( maybe thats the only good thing

'For who you are'? What trivial matters get a kid bullied in primary schools nowadays? ¬_¬

o.O I'm in Year 12 at the moment, and applications have to be all but done by the end of 2009. I'm not 17 until the end of August, which may be what's confused you. xD;

Awesome. I'm looking at Oxford, Exeter, Bristol, Southampton, Bath or Birmingham for my university. I hope to study Mathematics, Mathematics with Philosophy or COmputer Science & Mathematics.

Other way round, I think. The Manx cat breed originated in the 1700s, while the name of Man (or similar) was applied to the island as early as Roman times.

~

I just hate how they've gone for a sort of retro 1980s kit look. We also have a ludicrous colour for the away kit.
Yes yes you're right actually. I think the Manx cat originally came from the Isle of man. Thats where i got mixed up

Ah I am in year 12 aswell. I am looking to go more into computer design aswell. In case your wondering why I am only in year 12, I took a gap year, and with my birthday being in october I am pretty old haha. Will be nearly 20 by time I leave.

All them subjects are hard. I am awful at maths.

I'm in year 11 myself.
Looking to do Music Production & music performance..
Programming was something i wanted to do but i'm also really bad at maths >.<

Some people these days don't know when to grow up sometimes. I used to get bullied a lot during my school years until I bullied them to knock it off until I got in trouble a lot and got sent to the principals office numerous times.

Maths becomes really hard with quadradic equations and what not, and arg stupid copied sig from playstation website. 50 pixels to wide, why can't they make my life easier and not have to make me edit it.

I see. We only get the option of a year out after Year 13. =/

Many a war occurs out of difference.

But... they're eleven! From the sounds of it this has been some really traumatic stuff for dark aron to deal with, and at such a young age. I guess the whole notion of children being innocent has been thrown out of the window. ._.;;;

You don't know difficult until you cover a whole Maths A2 in seven months. xD;

I loved my gap year. Made some money, got a car, had a good time. now I am back in the awful reality of school and well i am not enjoying it. But if it leads to game design I can't wait.

I saw what some of the people at my school did for maths. There is no chance I could do it.

I remember I use to be the best at math until I got into middle school. Throughout my entire middle school experience I had troubles with mathematics, but now that I'm in high school, I'm starting to get worried a little bit.

I'd love to be able to do something like that between further and higher education, but I'd always have the feeling that a job would be temporary. I want to be out there in the working world as soon as possible, if you see what I mean.

Aww, but parametric equations are so fun. :(

What exactly are parametric equations?

o.o Physics > Actual math. That is because Physics is science and math, the two best subjects combined into one ultra subject.

Apparently my signature is offensive..?

What exactly are parametric equations?

One function displayed as two, both as a function of a parameter such as t. It's used because it's (generally) simpler to display them as two functions rather than one. For example:

x=3cos(t)
y=3sin(t)

It is possible to turn them into a Cartesian equation (i.e. function containing x and y only), and this can form the basis of exam questions. Parametric equations can be used to define really interesting graph shapes. For example, the above equations result in a circle of radius 3, centred at the origin.

Physics is just applied mathematics. *runs*

Apparently my signature is offensive..?

To insecure, bigoted people, yes.

Is any of that even in English? Lol. You lost me after the well... I didn't get any of it. I actually used to be good at maths but that is just going straight over my head. haha.
