Same, my step dad decided to turn on the central air in the middle of the night. I turned my fan on "super high" when I fell asleep too. >:

I have a door that goes outside and windows that don't open. My fan is strong. It has the following options:

Low - Which is like a normal fan's medium.
High - Which..is like a normal fan's high.
Super High - Which is like..a normal fan's high times 4.

Aren't wet and damp the same thing..? Usually that means humidity. Fans are fun when it's humid.
