:( I keep trying coffee in the hopes that I'll magically acquire a taste for it but... no luck so far.

lol I really want to change the topic but all I can think of is the weather and that's the other topic we always have aside from coffee/Starbucks. XD
 
I find Timmies expensive at times. I find it funny though, usually first time coffee drinkers would pour everything in their coffee like cream and sugar, if they didn't already get a frappcino etc. But not me, I started black and will stay black. XD

Also, the best coffee you will ever have will be at a time where you will only have it once, plus it will be in an obscure place.

I had my best black coffee on a boat on the great barrier reef in Australia. We were there to scuba dive.

Hello Angela, my Icelandic is very poor but zero unhealthy/sick, how are you (It can be translated to that, but it's so grammatically wrong to say it like that, I don't know how to translate it like that over to English, "What are you" comes in mind.....).....

I had champagne in the bottom of the Grand Canyon. :D

It still tastes rubbish though.

Well, Stargate, Gundam SEED, and Tales of Symphonia all used to work as suitable topics, but that was...very long ago. Now, the Stargate franchise is all but gone from TV for the moment, SEED has been superceded by 00, and there are other Tales games to talk about.

Lol that reminds me of when all those tour companies for the older folks had wine/champagne etc set up for them, when they were watching the sunset of Ayers rock. I was in the "backpacker" type group and at the time we had supper instead. Though I'd think beer was involved.

*Vehemently advertises Stargate Worlds* Cause there is no bias there >.> By the by, Stargate Universe is coming soon.
 
Haha. Hmmm yeah I was supposed to go to Las Vegas as well as the Grand Canyon, a few years back, but because I was with family (and older at that), they didn't want to be scorched by the sun. It was about 47C or 110F. But I would like to go someday, and even try my hand at gambling some XD >.>

Oh yeah, man, it was hot there D= but seriously you're barely in the sun very much in Vegas - at most, out on the street before diving into the next casino (and even then, most of them are connected underground).

:( I've never seen an episode of Stargate, I've never been a mecha fan, and Tales of Symphonia is so 2005. (That and no one seems to have played Abyss and not enough people have played Vesperia. Fanbases are so much smaller. ;_;)

What is Stargate, anyway?

I love hot weather, love it so much that I'd want to move out of Canada.

Stargate SG1 is about a show based off of a movie. The premise is that the characters travel different parts of the universe in hopes of discovering new allies/technology and otherwise follow the main plot of the season.

One of the reasons it gained popularity was because of it's humour. It is not a serious sci-fi show at all times.
 
Ah. XD I know a fair few people who watch it but I've never known what it was about.

I remember that I used to watch Stargate. I don't really remember the plot to well... something about gods that people used to worship on earth actually being aliens or something?

The Egyptian Gods and all of Earth's ancient culture were actually based off a race of parasitic aliens. (Gawd, so much Animorphs parallels. XP)
