My thoughts exactly! I've always been thinking about that.
Are you the other half of my mind?

What's even more confusing is that the New Testament only describes Adam and Eve having two sons and no daughters.
To make it even more confusing, one of the sons killed his brother, leaving only one son!

Within that era of the bible, people lived for hundreds of years, there was a pretty big gap of time after Cain killed Able, so Adam and Eve could have likely had more children within that. (I'm not 100% on this, but not all of Adam and Eve's children were talked about within the bible)

Of course I could be totally wrong, I haven't read the bible in a while.

Try reading up once in a while.

Automatic tail cleaning machines would be win. XD

It's kinda scary, how did they have children, were did they find females? Unless *Unclean, unclean*

I didn't see that. Although, how can one say the bible didn't describe other
siblings if no one was there besides the family of Adam and Eve?
I suppose God could tell the creator of the New Testiment that;
however, how come God has never spoken to me? Would that
make him the biggest hypocrite to ever exist?

Very few people in the world have told stories of how God talked to them, and exactly what he said. I saw a movie (based on a true story) about a man who was incredibly poor (a bum, some of you may call him) and he pretty much had to beg on the streets for food. He had no shelter and he was forced to eat things out of the rubbish bin, but then God talked to him and he took down notes on what God said, and thus he turned those notes into a book. He became a multi-millionaire within days.

So, in order to hear God talk to you, you would have to be 1 in a trillion.

Maybe you aren't listening to him.

Perhaps I am not. However, since he is God, why must I have to listen to get spoken word from him? God shouldn't be able to only speak to those who only listen to him. That's just not right. For example, if I were to speak to you in person, you may be able to ignore the conversation but you can't ignore the fact that there is sound coming from my mouth. The sound is still existent even as hard as you may try to ignore it.

Yes, but you're you. God is God.

God is capable of things far beyond your imagination, Zenn.

True but according to my religion, Christianity, God cannot do any thing outside of his "will".

How does he know right from wrong, though?

God created everything; thus, he created what was right and what was wrong. Hence the term "sin".

^lol.

And because he's God.. he created the 10 commandments, thus meaning that he knows right from wrong, Nica.

Wow. I still don't get it. How can Zeus make a 'punishment' by not opening a damn box? It can't be that hard to listen to him.

About that..

I believe in God.
I just don't believe in the fantasy aspect of it. :[
I belive in God aswell, it's just that I believe that the Big Bang set everything into motion.

Same with me. Though I do think something religiously had to have contributed to start the world as well.

I have a question. If God made everything, then why did he make evil?

I know two stories to that.

Pandoras box, and the tree of Good and Evil.
Derk's explained Pandora, so I'll do the Tree.

In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve lived in perfect naked harmony, but in reality, they were stupid. There was a tree in the garden which God had forbidden them to eat, for reasons unknown to them. Satan tricked A&E into eating from this tree, the Tree of Good and Evil. And I can't remember why, but evil/sin was created.

And why was the tree created? Apparently it was to give humanity a choice, to be on God's 'side' or Satan's 'side'.

I personally think God made the Big Bang which made the Universe.

I pretty much don't even have a religion.
