LOL...No one has posted in the DCC. D=

Where is everyone? =/

I just read a lot of manga lately...so it's on topic. XD

I like them. Their pretty much just like the Cirque Du Freak series, but has to do with normal humans who have to deal with magical transformations and powers that have to do with the demon apocalypse.

I sound like a nerd.
Noo you don't. It actually sounds good. But they might be a bit too easy for me to read now heyy.

Can't say I'm a great fan of reading Manga. Mainly down to the fact I get confused by the layout ahahaha.

I used to love manga but I never buy it anymore and I hate reading it online so I just... don't read it anymore.

:c I've been missing from the DCC because of school, more or less. Exams are soooon. ;;

Oh yeah?
What exams you got coming up?

Yeah well.. I'm definitely not a fan of manga. Or anime. I just don't like either of them, sorry to say.

Can't say I disagree. I feel a lot of the gags and storylines are repetitive and charmless, i can;t see the fascination with it all.

I know there's lots of genres. I really enjoyed Cowboy Bebop and the Big O, i used to enjoy One piece as well, thats probably it though.

i started really getting into anime when i saw deathnote. then i started watching xxxholic and the gundam series
even though you don't like anime there is an anime series for you

I've grown out of anime a little bit. I much prefer, say, the western animation that box office animated movies use. It's much more expressive and anime is pretty generic looking. I mean it can be pretty sometimes and the animation of the big titles are great quality but... it's too hard to get emotion from it most of the time for me. :/

I still watch it, though, since it has plot and I... don't know any Western-style cartoons that have plot like that. ._.

Oh yeah?

Well, I've got my last (FINALLY) midterm on Monday and then exams in general aren't until April but I'm still worried about them. :[ Calculus is the big one but I also have little idea what I'm doing in Linear Algebra so I have to buckle down and study for that too. @_@;

edit: omg how did I not notice a page had gone by lmao

I have to agree with you there. But after watching Western Cartoons/animation since childhood...I just don't like it anymore. Maybe the new 3D ones...but Jap Anime has it's own unique art style. :3

We need the old Western Cartoons back. Namely, most every single cartoon on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon before the year 2000. Shows like "Johnny Bravo", "Dexter's Laboratory", and "Hey Arnold!" were amazing, IMO. Cartoons these days are why my TV is never on for more than an hour. Not to mention that most every show I get on my current, Cartoon Network-less cable is a Disney sitcom.
I do enjoy anime immensely, but since I do most of my watching on the computer, the thing I use to play video games atm and to go on forums like this, I can never find an opportunity to watch more than an hour a week.

Wow, pretty crappy choice of anime you've got there.

I feel that anime are like movies. There's one for everyone, or whatever.
Saying "I don't like any anime!" to me is like saying "I hate every kind food!".

Ugh, I've been studying for exams. x_x

Topic is anime?
DragonBall. Forever and always <3
DBZ brings back so many memories.

I remember I used to destroy my friends in the PS2 games - I was the first one to learn how to go Saiyan. That made my strength go up higher. XD

xD, they don't show any in Iceland so I just watch what I hear about on the forums online:)

I was going to say "Avatar", but then I realized you said Western style...okay, that could be a little trickier, since even that has obvious anime influences, haha. :{

I like anime, though for some reason I prefer older series. I don't mean like old old stuff, but maybe like from the 90's or so. :{ I don't know, something about the style of those catches my eye more than most newer series are able to do.
