Because of the theme that I have now, I refuse to have my name changed for another couple of months, most likely another 4 months or so. :[ Besides, I want to have more time with this name before it gets changed, because I'm really going to miss it. ;__;

That Banette theme you had a few days ago was pretty badass. This one...eh, I'm not loving it.

Edit: U.N. Owen...where have a heard that name before? Wasn't that the "name" of the person sending out all those letters in the book "And then there were none?"

Exactly.

Glad to see someone here reads mystery novels, lol.

If you're talking about the one by Agatha Christie, I love that book. <3 I think that name was in there somewhere.

Yes, random, I know.

*MAJOR headdesk*

I flippin' read that book in English during our mystery quarter.

I loved it. But I forgot that. Goes to show how much I remember good works of literature.

I must confess that I have yet to read any of Agatha Christie's works. Perhaps I should pick up a few of her books and read them when I have the time...

:O

If you like mystery, those are amazing.

For some reason, I only can stand to read about three at a time. Any more than that and I have to go do something else.

Agatha Christie's one of my favourite writters, so of course I'd also recommend her works.

I guess this is why I'm so obsessed with Umineko no Naku koro ni- it's like Agatha Christie meets Higurashi meets Black Magic!

You and your Higurashi, Rikanai XD

Mm, Agatha Christie is a great mystery writer. I've actually bugged my English teacher at my current school to have us read it a couple times already XD He SHOULD make us read it. And not because I've already read it, but because my peers are missing out on something amazing.

I don't even read the stuff they have us read at school because I can't stand Brazilian literature, except for a handful of books I've read already anyway. D:

The only Brazilian writer I know is Mário de Andrade, and that's only because I got bored one day and decided to look at the featured articles on Wikipedia.

On the topic of books, who here remembers, or for that matter, knows who wrote Howl's Moving Castle? All I remember is that Hayao Miyuzaki made an animated movie based on the novel.

The original author of Howl's Moving Castle was a British woman named Diana Wynne Jones.

Diana Wynn Jones, I think it is actually. But hey, one letter more isn't too bad :3 *read the book before seeing the movie*

The movie was good, the book was good. Also, I think Ms. Jones wrote Pom Poko, which Miyazaki turned into a movie, if I read something correctly.

I'm waiting for Ponyo's release in the US <3

Ah, El Ponyo by the Sea, great artistry, childish plot. Still a worthy movie, I'd say.

Also, thanks for the info, it's much appreciated.

*loves Little Mermaid stories* Except for Disney's XD

Eyah, reminds me of when I used to watch Mermaid Melody... ^^' Those days are over, though I still listen to the music from it~

Mononoke Hime = Best Miyazaki movie, IMHO.

I am a little confused about the subject so please don't attack me. But I assume it is about movies.

I really liked Mulan, I wonder if I spelled that right. Great movie in my opinion. Oh, and Anastasia. :3

I just had a nice conversation with someone about the swine flu.

Spoiler:

It seems you've forgotten about Kiki's Delivery Service. :3

Ah, Kiki's wasn't as good as Mononoke <3 Mononoke had an actual message. Though I suppose Kiki's could be to try your hardest/never give up, or something like that XD Mononoke's got a whole "nature and war" theme to it.

'Tis why I liked Nausicaa too. Oh, and Totoro's a great family movie =D

Castle in the Sky's fine, as well. So many cute squirrel-foxes =D

Princess Mononoke, Bridge of Teribithia, and The Pursuit of Happiness are my favorite movies. Princess Mononoke is the best one of all of them, but if I watch Bridge of Teribithia and The Pursuit of Happiness back and forth, I go crazy and fall out into crying hard.
