I don't have a job at all, so I have very limited money in my wallet.

The only time I take money out of my wallet is to count the cash, let my parents borrow some money, and to buy candy or something.
 
I'm quite good with money at the moment, I think carefully before I spend it. It'll be a key characteristic when I'm older.

Saying that my last 25euro is gonna be donated to PC xD

I'm in the midst of bank woes too. 8| My debit card was skimmed the other week and they drained my account over a few days with ATM withdrawals. It caused my first rent cheque & deposit to bounce and aaaah, so stressful.

Wow. Now on to the topic of personal finance.

Well now my parents are pressuring me to get a summer job. But I know it would be futile since they will suck up all the money I earn to pay for the bills.

Plus I already made commitments to summer school and an after summer-school Pre-Med fellowship for my summer. And I still want to be able to post here. XD

And I managed to whisk away around $50 in cash from my christmas money. I'm planning to save up for HGSS and Golden Sun DS. And maybe even a DS Lite. ^_^

Edit: Oh and they want me to start the path to getting my Drivers License. XP

My parents want me to get a summer job as well. I might do it, but I kind of want to enjoy one last summer before college starts :/
 
I am old enough to get my drivers license..but..

1. No car to drive.
2. Why would I pay 300 dollars for 4 classes where you learn obvious things?
3. I can take the metro for free.
4. Everywhere I like to go is within 3 miles. Walking distance ftw.
5. It's easier to wait until you are 18 because..
- You don't have to pay 300 dollars for 4 classes where you learn obvious things.
- You don't need to have your temps for 6 months.
- You can get your drivers license any time after you get your temps. One day, 30 years..
 
I got my license last year, I did everything I needed the first day that I could. XD

We have to be 17. bit annoying really.
I guess its pretty cool just to have the freedom of a car though. Knowing you can go anywhere with a turn of a key
 
I got my permit when I was 15 and a half, and then my license when I was 16. My 1 year provisional period thing just ended last month.
 
It's ridiculous that you can't even do as much as start a car until you are 17 here and you have to be with a licsenced driver every time you drive until you yourself have a liscence!
 
My G1 (basically your learner's) expires... next year? I don't think I have time to make it to my full license G before the 5 years are up. I'll probably only go renew it because it's easier to use my driver's license as ID when buying alcohol than my health card or bringing my passport everywhere, lmao.
