Canada's better, you just haven't realize it yet. *prepares brain-chips*

Japan will forever be my favorite, noone will ever change my mind. "Crushes brain chips" Stop that!

No offense to anyone.

No, but I have taken japanese class and have studied up on the culture, myself.

Let's just say you don't even have as much freedom as you can possibly have in the UK or America. It's not like you can wake up and decide to be lazy for the whole day. Japanese people are VERY tidy and make sure every chore is done right and they try to make sure that everything they do is proper. It's agitating, really.
All those NEETs and hikikomori holed up in their parents' apartments would beg to differ.

That must be very hard. I frequently decide to be lazy for the whole day.
But, I guess you will eventually get used to it~

If my school has trips to Japan, I might go just to see what it's like. I know they have trips to China, but not sure about Japan.

@BSH: I'm used to doing my usual round of sleeping, interwebs, exercise, and eating, and Japan has you to like to do 9,001 procedures before you even go close to doing what you want.

Sadly, it's tradition.

*shocked face* Woah, it would be very hard to transition from being able to do whatever I want here, to doing a million things before I can do anything I want.
And at the rate I do things, I probably wouldn't even get to do anything of my own choice~

.. I love you UK~

I only have most of the procedures memorized. Some very close to what we have today, like wearing no shoes in the house, always thanking before eating, etc. Japan also has cool events, some ridiculously funny(there's one where they just throw beans to ward away dark spirits). I'm not trying to make Japan sound horrible in any way, though. What I'm saying is that it's very traditional and cultural, and as such, it'll be really difficult for some of us to adapt to.

It's really nothing like anime shows.

I wanna throw some beans.
Everyone is really pretty in animes. I've never met a guy that looks like Kyo from Fruits Basket. [still hoping] ;3

I think if I gave it a proper chance I might enjoy it.. but I don't wanna get myself addicted. When I'm addicted to something it's pretty disasterous.
