It's becoming more common for younger kids to know things that were once taboo at their age. I think a major part of it is the Internet and technology in general, we're all growing up way faster than our parents or their parents.
It'll also be interesting to see what our generation will be like as adults, since we've grown up with this technology and we're basically setting the "rules" for it despite adults having tried for so long. (Oh god I'm 18 now, I feel olllllld.) It just didn't come naturally to them like it does to us, which... won't be a problem for us when dealing with OUR kids, lmao. :( idk it's weird to think about.
