I've tried arguing to a parent that letting her daughter have a myspace, or facebook, or twitter is no more dangerous than letting her go with friends alone to a mall, or of some likeness. Or no more dangerous, or any more necessary than for her to have a credit card as it is used a lot as a mainstream for identity theft.

Fact is that having access to a website such as isn't dangerous itself but can be dangerous if used irresponsibly. Sadly, most kids are completely irresponsible any more because discipline doesn't and never has existed in their home. I would know, though I live with my biological parents our home is a foster home. Every child we've ever gotten is totally spoiled and has only known his/her way.

they just looked on some random page, and the usbject i think was alchohal or something. then i got this like 40 min lecture about internet safety, then another 30min lecture about chat sites, then a 15 min lecture on why i wasnt allowed on here anymore.

IT just makes me so damn frustrated. This place is awsome! but, im glad they didnt see the Find all post by POL!TO3D button. that would have been horrible.

I just let loose on here. I be who i want to be IN real life, say the things i want to say e.t.c.

I think they just hate not having complete control.
 
Ack, that must suck. >_<; My parents generally respect my privacy, so in turn I trust them with things, like the fact that I do go on this site and some of the things I talk about. :s

More sprucing up, I wouldn't have to do this if you proof read first ;~;

I would hate not having the chance to alter the "destiny" of a person and using them like a marionette either, but your parents are only trying to do what is best for you, even if you think otherwise. I don't consider doing what they do unless you really want to, but I suggest that you at least switch to another tab so you can be their perfect child and a little, evil, demon spawn delinquent at the same time. I do that all the time, and I never failed with that.

Some old guy wants to come try and rape me, we'll see how his frail bones do against my aluminum baseball bat. XD

Hey Dean. ^^ I'm not allowed to post pictures of myself on the internet, and a whole host of other things that might be personally identifiable (like which school I go to, or even the grades I get.)
 
I half to exit out everytime they walk by, since this old dinosour doesnt have tabs, and the look down there at the stuff thats minimized. There is no respect for my privacy either, everything has to be told to them, it sucks.

HOwed you know i was a demon spawn!!!!

But, i know there just looking out for me and i respect that, to some exstent. If they only knew the things ive hiden from them..........

My parents aren't really bothered with me posting pics of myself on the interwebz, but they know that I won't give out anything that could lead to a creepy 40-something knocking on my door. XD
