However, lately I've been learning different styles and incorporating more than just chords progressions. :> [/feels like guitar newbie]

Also, the emo kids are even worse! American emo kids are cute, but here they look dirty, and most of them are fat, and for some reason, they think that speaking English everywhere they go in a SPANISH SPEAKING COUNTRY makes the more emo. Seriously, everytime I go to Border's and I see them laying around the floor in groups of five or six, I just wanna tell them how pathetic they are. xD

No, I'm not. Scene and Skater people are cute. <3 They go there to read manga, because in this God forsaken island I live in emo is synnounimous with manga/anime fan/otaku.

Well punk and goth are semi similar to emo as well, so that doesn't help. XD

Scene kids or "scenagers" are basically non-self-mutilating emos. They look and dress wild with bright colors and crazy hair styles, like a rich preppy punk kid would.
