I've read half of the first book and I saw the movie and I just do not see any of the appeal. :( I really dislike what I've heard about them but have no desire to read the series in full.

I just thought if the movie was out already that there would be a bigger media storm about it. It was all I heard about for days last year when the first movie came out.

I'm also planning on heading to the theatre this weekend and I do not want it to be crowded. ;o;

I agree. I see no point after the second book. Btw Erica how have you been? We haven't talked in a while.
 
Don't get me started on Twilight and my distaste for the series. >_>;

Harry Potter was okay, but I was never one to obsess over it. XD

Correction, 2 of the books are good :D
 
I... could put them down. I tried sooo hard to get to the baseball scene in the first book because Dean mentioned it and I thought it sounded ridiculous. But I couldn't even get that far. I was like 1/3rd of the way in and there still wasn't any plot. D: I hear the last book is like bad fanfiction, too. XD;

It is a rare occasion when books become movies and are good. You would be lucky(no pun intended of course) if you got a good movie.
 
It's been a while since I've read ANY book without having it due for class.
I'm currently reading To Kill A Mockingbird, and I am not that impressed. It's just a bunch of kids trying to get a glimpse of another kid during the summer.
