A kindle is something that lets you download books and read them on the thing.

Personally, since plenty of sites (Google Books included) let you read full texts of some series, why bother? ;X I didn't even pay for my laptop (since it was part of the tuition cost).

This time yes.

Last year, because I was moving to NC, they didn't buy me a new one, so I used a teacher's laptop. I had to give that back.

Now, because I'm gonna stay the entire year (and then go to another school for 11th XD) I get to keep this one. Although, technically speaking, I should have TWO computers since we paid for one in 9th grade too.

And because the school I'll be going to helps kids with special needs (mental illnesses or disabilities or other stuff), I may get to use one there. Or a word processor, so I wouldn't be tempted to get on the internet like I am now.
