And if I download Steam, does that cost anything?

Also, for that matter, would it run on Mac?

/biggest problem there, it's pretty much the only thing on my Mac that I dislike

Steam is free(and will always be free) and for a long time it was for Windows only but now it's on the Mac as well and eventually linux as well.

The way I see it, Steam is like a console on your computer you have to buy games for! \o/

It's like gamestop or w/e the store is, except you don't have to deal with jerks.... you also don't get the CD/DVD discs to install the game. It's all done ~digitally~ and it's best to download it when you're at home, don't worry get in trouble with the school techies now. o3o

Portal's already being downloaded o3o

Though I should've probably gotten Steam before... Unless the free download comes with Steam...

/doesn't know how it works, such a computer game n00b

Portal will have to wait till I get back on campus... I don't have long enough computer access during the summer to download anything nearing 4GB... Sounds interesting though. I'll probably need to upgrade my computer before I get Portal too, since I'm hovering at just over 7GB hard drive space :/

I've yet to use a mac. u_u I can't afford one and I'd only get one to play around with anyway and I just... can't justify the cost. D:

My netbook is apparently one of the best for hackintoshing though. I've been meaning to do that for ages now.

Pffffffft x infinity

Today in English we were talking about Beowulf, and then my English teacher made a joke about what the Craigslist ad for getting a hero to defeat Grendel would be. So we came up with our own ads and whatnot.

So, in the end, we ended up with this:

https://baltimore.craigslist.org/trd/1748665672.html

It's just funny that he actually went and made an ad on Craigslist XD It'll be even funnier if it stays there for a while.

/hopefully it's OK for me to post it, since it isn't an actual ad

Craigslist scares me. It looks so unprofessional...>.>;;;;;;
It really ought to be much better looking and less sporadic. No idea how it became so popular.

@Erica: Luckily, I got a MacBook Pro as an incentive to go to the college I'm going to now :B If I hadn't I would have never used a Mac and still have a bias towards them.

Ahaha, that's pretty awesome. I love funny Craigslist ads. :D

I don't mind the site. I've never personally used it (though I have browsed it several times in the past) but my parents have gotten plenty of things off it... and I think we sold our old car through Craigslist. o.o

My English teacher was also joking about putting up an ad asking for students to join our school.

Next year there's only gonna be ONE ninth grader, unless they get people from other schools.
