The Dark Knight

Someone should close this thread. There's no spoiler alert and I put my cursor over the thread name and the little preview popped up and the information was not hidden. So thanks for ruining the dark knight for me...

I love this movie so much. My favorite movie without a doubt ^_____^

There's only one thing I would change, that being Batman is supposed to be a ninja. Make him more of a ninja. Ninjas = <3 oksay?

If you think it should be closed report it to a Mod that's seems suitable ^^
And let's be fair, if there's a thread with the title of a recent film/game/etc, then it's probably going to have spoilers.

I absolutely loved this movie, and have already seen it twice in theaters. The scene with the Joker dressed up as the nurse in the hospital was just absolutely brilliant, and probably my favorite part. But yeah, like other people have said, it kinda sucked how they killed off 2-face within like...25 minutes of his character being introduced =/

Heath Ledger's acting, while no doubt amazing, I feel was a bit overrated. I mean, when i had first read reviews for the movie, it seemed as though he completely stole the spotlight, yet when I actually saw the movie for myself, I didn't see what all the hype was actually about. Truthfully, I thought whoever played Harvey Dent did just as good. But regardless, great movie, and definitely worth picking up when it's released.

First thing I have to say is directed towards the troll; epic fail. Why aren't there any good trolls anymore? All you get these days are useless people who think talking about religion or spoiling the latest movie on people is great trolling.

Anyways, I have put spoiler tags around the following notes for a reason. Do not read them unless you have watched the movie or you want to wreck it on yourself.

xDD My comment on that:

We're never told the story behind The Joker, he's just a madman who comes out of nowhere and wants to meet Batman. To me, that's pretty irritating. A backstory would've been amazing.
I somewhat prefer it at that way - only knowing so much about a character doesn't take the impact away in my eyes. I like the commanding mystery a villian like the Joker has, as what the Nolan brothers shot for was more accurate to the original comics - a sordid anarchist and a chain reaction with no rules, no schemes, and a mind that's still 5 steps ahead of Batman and The Police.

As for the film itself, it's rich, dark, and timeless, much more a crime epic than a Superhero film. It delivered on all levels in my eyes, while still peering much deeper than any film of that genre would. The Joker's line of Batman "completing" him was particularly a draw-in for me, as that's saying The Joker (an evil that seems to be more a genius who's an anarchist for the sake of it than a wanton, flamboyant clown) is necessary for Batman (good, but yet a vigilante at the same time). Ledger's unique portrayal not only executes the Nolan Brother's visions amazingly well, but delivers one of the most memorable performances of all time by my view. I'm also glad that the film didn't have a gratuitous amount of gore; there was a seldom amount, now that I think about it. The film didn't rely upon that kind of thing to be imposing, which was a plus IMO. But I have a few issues with some of the dialogue, Batman's aloofness, and the way the third act was ultimately executed in the film, along with the score (while good, something more along the lines of the score used in "The Wizard Preview Trailer" would have worked better for me), but outside of that it just has this in-frame excellence in all facets that just works ominously yet beautifully.

Best.Movie.Ever.

I never liked Batman, never read the comics, never watched the cartoons or anything, and I wasn't interested in the Dark Knight at first at all.
Then, I heard it was supposed to be REALLY good, so I went with my family and saw it.
I WANNA FRIGGIN SEE IT AGAIN!!!

Heath Ledger was AWESOME, and I'm now a big Joker fan!

May Heath rest in peace...
(In case you didn't know, he died...so...yeah.)

Very good movie...^_^

I can't believe that I click on every spoiler tag I see.

I also can't believe I haven't seen this movie yet. I got a good idea of what happens, though.

This is actually my best friend favorite Character ever. Also where I live they have a roller coaster named after him. I think he is so weak. lol
